Banners Galore!

200x200 pixels, at most 39 kB the kB is very important, because you cannot use it for an avatar if it is more.

Thank you Mir. I checked that in those photos(I put them in my desktop and after in the recycle bin there I could see how many kB they were. Is there another way?
These photos are not exactly 200x200 but around there

 

You can right click on the image, and choose to see the settings, there it will say how many kB

 

Any suggestions from anyone are more than welcome @Arielh ! I'm not sure what I'd like yet though. I might go for something different to than the cat theme...
this could take some time as I can be shocking at making decisions

Well @Arielh , did you see my comment about someone else's avatar earlier today???..it was a butterfly and very beautiful! And if you didn't then it's quite amazing because one of the other things I'd been thinking of having was butterflies as I love them and only earlier this evening there was a beautiful Peacock butterfly in my kitchen! There is also a really lovely fairy avatar that someone on here has got but I can't remember who it is...I love mystical things/nature/animals/moon&stars...you get the idea..?

Edit- I found the lovely fairy avatar, it belongs to lilbayberry.

@Arielh, I came to have a quick look before I go offline. I do really like the top one on the left but I'm wondering if to have something more colourful perhaps? Thank you again for taking the time to do this. I must go but I will catch up with you tomorrow hopefully!

 

fifitrixiebell I thought you will want something more colorful(I can understand it and from your new thread) but you confused me a bit with the mystical things request. You can ask for whatever you want and I will always do my best to find the perfect avatar! (This one is bigger but if you like it we can make it smaller it somehow)

If anyone else likes one of this picture for his/hers avatar you are free to use it!

 

@Arielh there are just so many lovely pics, I think I'm going to struggle to decide with this the more pics I see!! And oh my word, I just checked out the seashell pics on Google ...

oh my, just found the most amazing gothic/fairy/fantasy artwork by a lady called Jasmine Becket-Griffith..think I might have to use one of these for my avatar!!!.. when I can remember how to do it!

 

click 3 times in a row in your avatar and then you will find a way of choosing the photo you want.

 

I'm rather pleased with myself as, as you can see I have managed to get myself a beautiful avatar and I managed to work it out all by myself (i.e I winged it! ) ..after clicking 3 times like you told me Arielh! Now I'm new to all this so I just need to ask, does it matter where you copy the pic from as the pic is one of the pieces by the aforementioned artist that I stumbled across while checking out pics that Arielh had suggested on here..this is the only place I'm using it..is it ok?? (cos if not you better tell me quickly how to get rid of it!! )

P.S -what do you think to it? I absolutely love it and if I had the money I would probably buy a load of her paintings because they are just so beautiful! Would love to get my hands on a limited edition piece for sure!

 

well done you changed your avatar alone! I don't know if there is a problem you are using this picture, I don't think there is.
I personally find your avatar a bit scary But I am glad you found what were you looking for

Hi Elemeef I am sorry I took so long I have made a suggestion for a banner, it is really just a first suggestion, so please tell me what you like/don't like and I will try to make something you will like in the end For the avatar you could use just the picture of the scorpion, I think it fits quite nicely, and I am not sure what else to do with it. But if you (or someone else) has any ideas, please bring them

Hi promaster If I am inspired I will try to make a banner for you, but I will not promise anything. I only do this when I feel like it, and it took me ages to make something for Elemeef But like I said in the opening post, anyone is welcome to contribute, so maybe someone else can help you too

 

Ok...so I thought I could do this myself and now I have a gigantic image in my signature. Photobucket and I have mutual dislike of each other so I'm sure this is something I've done incorrectly. The pixel numbers are 468X60 should this not be the size I see for others signature banners?

 

Hi, it looks good , too bad it's too big the picture is 1024x131 you can resize it in photobucket though, try to find the edit option, and choose resize

 

Photobucket very kindly decided to resize it for me and I didn't notice till I posted it. I've corrected that. Now of course I have to go back and fix the tiny text that no one can read. Only took me an hour and half so far.

I must say Clash I really like your banner. It's a bit hypnotic though and I find myself starring back.

I'm very inspired by this thread I might try my hand at one as well.
