Barn totals per category

I would suggest to put a barn total per category into the barn, so that we can see, HOW much are our tree fruit, crops, animals worth in CC.
This would help a lot in figuring out, how far we can get with a barn burner event and what we have to prepare etc.

a small "indow" beside the category would be enough (eg crops ....total 250,000)


I don't know, if this has been asked for already and how much work it would involve to be implemented.

CC? This can't be determined due to the dynamic market, if you mean EV then it would make sense. Personally I don't see a great need, but there is room for an extra tab so why not.

 

It is not about the price in the market but in the barn, so that we can see, how much barnvalue a category has. eg comin up temple event. if you have to donate 2 mio worth of tree fruit, it would be helpful to know, how much I have in the barn and how much in treefruit I need to fulfil the event.
I was calculating that related to the event last years September I now have around 125% of treefruit. But it was a lot of work to find out.

So I still think, it would be very helpful.

I Do understand what you are trying to say. But your suggestion about a Break Down of EV Value of Barn Stock Eg EV Value of Crops or Fruits etc...

Unfortunately Near Every Crop and Fruit In the Markets it selling for More than Exchange Value. This will not help us with useful Info For Donation Based Events as am into my 7th year of this game. Therefore cannot get a True Exchange Value of Crops, Fruits Etc

Some Crops and Fruits are selling for much way higher than it EV Value. I would certain will do donate these kind of Crops or Fruits to a Donation Based Event. I am Afraid you would have to create your own Spreadsheet to work out how much your barn value of crops, Fruits etc

sorry, but I think I can't bring my point across. So, as you are playing for 7 years, I'll take your advise.
I have done a spreadsheet. Just thought it could be helpful to have the total shown somewhere in game.

I would like to see something similar, it would really help with events. An extra column, that shows the total barn value for your items. Example: You have 23 Tigers in inventory, valued at 880 each, the extra column would do the math for you, and tell you the total value of all those Tigers is 20,240. It would also be helpful to have a total at the bottom, that adds up everything, and shows what your entire barn is worth at a glance. Then, for barn burner events, I would love to be able to click an item line, to exclude or include it in that total value. Example: If I have Tigers at 20,240, Hippos at 1,250, and Parrots at 7,320, I could highlight Parrots to exclude them, and have the grand total be 21,490, reflecting the value of the barn without the Parrots. It would make deciding what to donate to barn burner events much easier.

 

Excellent ideas Clonahmon and EowynR!! Combining them gives us just what we need for barn burner events: total EV values individually and in total barn EV value, and an exclusion option so we don't donate something we want to keep. Since only EV value is counted when donating, this would be a huge help!

I really hope these can be done! They would vastly improve the enjoyment of these kind of events, which - as they are now - are quite tiresome.
