Base pen doesn't come with upgrade in the Wild About Animals event?

    I have noticed that although I won a red crab with the arthropod crate, I didn't receive a base crab to go with it. Luckily I already have a base crab which means I can use the upgrade.

    If someone wins a red crab and doesn't have the base crab, do they win a base pen so that they can at least use the upgrade or do they end up with a useless upgrade?

    I'm using the crab as an example because the base pen is not easily obtained and can't be traded during G & T.

    Hello Growalot,

    The base pen is not included in the crate. If you did not have a base pen, you would need to wait until one was offered/rewarded or available through Gift & Trade.

    Thanks shooger.sweet, It hardly seems fair because the crab pen is one of the most difficult to obtain.

    Hopefully for those in the position of winning a useless upgrade, a base can be obtained in the not too distant future.
