    If this is in the FAQs, I apologize, I missed it.
    Can you buy bats and crows in the market, get the pens through G & T if you have not yet "purchased" a pen through Jack's Shop?

    Its been a while for me and I can no longer remember.

    Hello woody,

    You can buy regular Bats and Crows from the Market. You cannot breed them or buy coloured animals without first purchasing the Breeding ability through Jack's shop.

    No, thank you. I knew about breeding, but was not sure if you had to have a pen to get the base animals as well.

    It came up in a discussion about newbies and we were not sure.
