Bat Roost Disappeared

Hi there,

I deleted this and now it is not in my inventory so I am forced to purchase bats in the market.

I previously had a REGULAR bat roost where I was making bats, it has disappeared from my inventory I just got the upgraded bat roost and was going to add them both to my farm when I noticed that the regular one was missing

 

Do you know where you got the yellow bat roost from? Often when you win a coloured upgrade, it does not come with a base pen included.

I just made the yellow bat roost from the area where you use tools/bats for it. I had for weeks a regular bat roost for weeks and removed it from my farm to make other things while I saved up my white bats that I get from the cloud row to get this upgrade.

 

I'm not a mod, but thought I'd pitch in to try and clarify:

The REGULAR bat roost is the base, the upgrades are just that -- an upgrade to your existing REGULAR bat roost. So you need a base (regular) bat roost, and then you put the upgrade on top of it to upgrade it to yellow (orange, or whatever colour). Sometimes you win an upgrade that comes with the base, but most often you have to upgrade your existing base (regular) stall or workshop. I'm guessing the build upgrade doesn't come with a base/reg. bat roost.

If you were to delete the yellow bat roost you have on your main farm at the moment, your inventory will probably show one regular bat roost and one yellow upgrade. If you then try to place only the yellow upgrade alone, it won't place. You put them together for one yellow bat roost.

Or did you have two regular bat roosts to start with?

p.s. You can upgrade to any colour directly from the regular/base roost. ie. you can go from regular directly to orange, red, whatever -- they don't need to go in sequence.

 

I had at least one regular bat roost (I think it was two but anyway) - I just "built" the upgrade to the bat roost and it is in my inventory and the regular (base) roosts are not there. I had removed the regular ones before to use the space for something else as I had enough bats to make the guano in my barn while I worked on opening up the cloud row for the white bat so I could build the upgrade. So now in my inventory I have zero regular roosts and one upgraded one - I cannot place the upgraded one on my field without the base one and when I went to add back the base one to start making more bats and add this new upgrade that I built was when I noticed the base bat roost was missing.

 

You have 1 Yellow upgrade in your animal inventory. You have also 1 x Bat roost I: Yellow in your Menagerie on your Main field.
This gives you 1 x Bat Roost and 2 x Yellow upgrades. If you feel you are still missing a Bat roost, you will need to contact Support as I can find no records of you having a second bat roost.
