Bell peppers/ Golden Bananas

Where and how can I purchase seed for bell peppers? I am on level 74 mainland.
Also, golden bananas, (level 35) I am having much difficulty in accumulating them to progress thru game when only giving 5 are given with each bahamarama level upgrade. When I harvest bahamarama crops there is a golden banana attatched to the morterboard EP but does not give golden banana as credit, will this change when I reach a higher level? If not, why is it there?
I know I can win some on the wheel or through some of the events but these are very rare.

Bell pepper is a baha crop which requires Golden banana to unlock in temple.

The banana beside EP indicates it is baha EP not to be confused with golden banana. The few ways you can earn GB is through levelling up, farmwheel, opening certain crates, events and quests.

 

Thank you for that reply FarmerDelight. It looks like I have to open chambers 2,3,4,5 and 6 in the monkey temple together with their associated seeds before I can get to the bell peppers which is asked for early in the farmer society "gaga for greens" and that's an awful lot of golden bananas.
It would be nice for newbies to the game if when the mouse is hovered over an item it gives a little more info on the item like how and where to obtain or use it instead of just the name of the item, or at least an indication as to where in the forums to find more info on that subject. Oh, for a perfect world.

As FarmerDelight has stated, you will need to open the rune in the Monkey temple to unlock bell peppers. Once you do that, you will be able to purchase them in the seed shop or market. The bananas next to the mortarboard indicates TEP that you get from harvesting your fields. Five Golden bananas are awarded when you level up each time.

Thank you Farmers'Almanac for your response. I have checked the links provided and believe that I must open chambers 2,3,4,5,6 before I can open chamber 7 to access the bell pepper and then I must also open the preceeding seed statues in chamber 7 only ? Is that correct?
As I do not have very many Gold bananas available I cannot afford to experiment un-nessessarily so your guidance will be greatly appreciated in this matter. Thank you, SmokeyDave.

 

Bell Peppers are in Chamber 6 Yes, all previous Chambers must be opened before you can unlock Chamber 6. Aloe Vera and Yams must then be unlocked before you can unlock Bell peppers.
