Best Birthday Bash Item Identification

The crate item rewarded should be identified either in the log, or placed in the 1st spot on the inventory when it is opened. I have only been able to identify one crate item that I have received from harvesting that item in the park. As it is now, I have to search through every item in my inventory. With my farm being two years old, I have accumulated a large inventory of trees, animals etc., and there is no way I can keep track of how much of each item I have to be able to identify which item is new. Perhaps, like the exclamation point on fuzzels, you can do that on the inventory type and then on the new item in the inventory.
