Big Fish Games is retiring its online games section at the end of December

This was posted at the top of the page when I logged onto BFG a few minutes ago.

The people who run BigFishGames lied to BigPoint.

Please help us save our BFG farms.

 

Ok, from this point onwards Big Fish Games have an obligation to give you your farmerama sign in details or farmerama can use this is as an opening to grab your farms back. I hope there is something that can be done all of you, dumbunny.

 

I joined through Topkan, which was abolished years ago. It required maintenance from maintenance, but here I am.

 

I am also a longtime Big Fish Games player - over three years! That is my ONLY farm! I have always lurked the forums for tips and tricks but never made an account. How can I keep my Big Fish Games farm and start playing over here?

 

This is taken from the last reply I received from the technical team from my last support ticket: "However, the problem is that we cannot provide you a direct login. Even if we would provide you a direct login, your account would still be tied to BFG and the payment problems, the forum issue, all these partner limitations would persist."

So as far as I can tell, unless the technicians at BP can find a workaround, all BFG farms will cease to be accessible on January 1, 2021.

Additionally, due to the recent legal issues that have plagued BFG, they have almost no staff. Starting a support ticket with them leads nowhere. My last two failed in-game purchases were never replied to, and they still owe me money (this is from September). I am hoping that BP has a way to contact BFG directly and can somehow coordinate something.

I have started a new support ticket with BP (directly from the affected farm). I hesitate to suggest that all affected currently-playing BFG farmers do so as well, because it is not fair to flood the technical team with requests. But if it's necessary for the techs to know which farms to bother saving and which farms are lying fallow, that may be the only way forward as BFG does not allow their farmers to access these forums directly.

I honestly do not know what to do. I appreciate everything that the BP technical team has done trying to migrate this farm away from BFG. I am said. Actually maybe even grieving the impending loss of sewinglady's farm. So much time and money invested. It was fun while it lasted.

 

My first farm is through BFG. I hope that a solution can be done but if not, I will hope for a Gift & Trade to move as much as I can to this farm. At that point, I will have a fire sale for my first farm. I will be sad if that is what happens. I know that in previous cases where a gaming platform hosting Farmerama no longer supported it, BigPoint was able to change the games over. Hoping that the same can be done for my BFG farm. I really am not schizophrenic...it's just that with Unity, I can only have one farm open at a time and I'm trying really hard to get used to playing in Unity.

Like BlackCaviar, I will do something similar if sewinglady's farm cannot be moved. Unfortunately, I cannot gift so many of the lovely items that farm has - BB trees, Jumbo trees, rare-new animal pens and trees, cloud rows...crates by the thousands saved up for a long time, tons of party spins, tons of harvester coupons, tons of bonuses.

Remember when I told y'all about my grandmother and her "saving for good"? Guess what? Turns out I'm guilty of the same thing...with my farm!

 

Well, crud!!!!!!!!!!!! My first farm is through BigFish, and has some unique items the rivak farm doesn't have. And I don't have enough licenses to move them all over.

It's also bad because I log into BigFish daily to play the casino game and Farmerama and I haven't gotten any such notification. If not for dumbunny's kindness I wouldn't know anything until it was too late.

Watch to see if there is an Official Announcement regarding this issue. As soon as the Game is no longer available through BigFish, you will probably need to contact Support so they can assist you further in migrating your Farm.

As I've already initiated support tickets with both BP and BFG, you may close this thread. I appreciate that you left it open as long as you did...more of us are affected by this than I previously thought.
