880 /6= 147 average drop rate per day to finish event.
    That's mid/high level.

I wish I had an EN FAQ to read...
Based on what little I know... I hope no one sends me the silly clocks. I can buy what I need to finish the event, if I don't already have it. Otherwise I can wait 2h. No big deal, 2h.

The bonus code has been announced. Wish I had activated it before the morning harvest... lol...

This sounds like an interesting event. I'll probably like it except for the annoying 4h crops. *sigh*

It looks good, a little long (40 steps) just worried about animals and products, I think I will go to step 3 first to get the CAC, it helps with the crops requirements, now being level related, it is not likely that we will get the same requirements, and here the clocks come handy, if I got a step with requirements I have in stock, that would be fine, otherwise have to cancel and try my luck again, and I think clearing all the fields and prepare 1x1 plots and start with event crops will give a good head start, planning is not possible at this stage until we see the requirements (they were smart to make it hidden, so they avoid complains and whining, and being level related so the players will not get the same) anyhow, we have to be ready to work hard and step by step and wish that luck is on our side, good luck every body.

Lately, I grew all the event plants and then started donating, if there was no harvest helper that started running right away.
But now, I might just run out of time. Since I don't know what crop is coming. With my luck I get stuck with the long timed crops at the end.
So maybe I get the requirements for the first "star" and then start all of them. Just so I can see and plan a little better.

Swish needs 220 batteries, 2700 Barbados Nuts and 2250 Sweet Clover. So does Willy Woggle.
Elvus Speckley needs 220 batteries, 1300 Babados Nuts and 2750 Sweet Clover. The same as Bunnilyn Bunroe.

Not to much for a single one.

I am going to finish the event, no matter what -.- so whatever you throw at me, I'll take it 8)

I will leave the magical glade (pens and trees) & bahamarama, and grow event crops on main field and on the green meadow only. Will take about 3 days. I am sure I can get enough batteries, but this time I think I am too impatient to wait. So I will test the "instant finish roses" at event start :p (roses on comfort fields with SG and: white innocence + fruit cake + 2 SG refinements for roses + chestnut cloud row). Will spend super grow until I have at least 400 batteries :inlove: with the EP bonus + sourdough cake, I'll have some extra EP in no time :music:

Will work on all four stars in parallel, to have a better overview of what is required :) If I want to reset a step, I can work on the others in the mean time.

If all goes smoothly, and my barn is full enough, I will finish on Friday :wuerg:xD

I am excited, good luck everyone :D

Well, BP alwasys want to clear our barn.
But they know they must give us attrative item
Oh, cloud rows. I love them. the Ep giving is really temp.
    Let see what stuff required.
    Will I do this event.
    of course ....................................................................................

    Yes, Now!xD

unless I know what they want and I could afford or not.
I won't refuse at this moment.

Today after event start, I will collect my bonus given by BP
the +30% EP , oh my carnation will got a big boost.
yes I know it will not affect the drops too much. But that's the
highest long hr EP crop. ;)

I am with you Mir ! I mean to do the same, hopefully it will not empty my barn :wuerg:xD

Like you Dienstag, I've decided I will complete one "star" task in full (all 10 steps), Beginning with the one I have the most stock of. I want to get a feel for those higher level requirement amounts. Though they differ between types ( crops, animals, trees, products ) it should give me an idea as to what lies ahead....

I will try not to skip level requirements (unless absolutely necessary) There is a possibility that those same requirements may show up again at another point in time, within another step.. and if I think it's a "hard" donation now, I surely don't want to deal with it towards the end of the event..

I will take advantage of all useable cloud rows, flowers, + EP's, the Artisan buffs and the +30% EP from the bonus code will come in quite handy (thanks!)

I will most likely miss 2 days of this event, so may think about purchasing one basket, not sure we'll see..

There was more I wanted to write but am now drawing a blank, " the bellowing " of my name, drawing my attention away... isn't helping my concentration either....-.-

Anyway, The event seems quite interesting , will be nice to see how everyone progresses though this one :)

Good Luck Farmers !! and if I can help anyone in anyway igm me;)

I can't help but think about poor sglick during an event like this. She had a requirement, as a 90-ish level player, for 50k lettuce! UGH!
I've also been thinking about those 40 levels... ugh! But they don't look terribly demanding. Yet... LOL!
I'm hoping they do let us start all of the celebrities at the same time and work them simultaneously.

All the excitement and I put 1x1's all out.
Everyone here really touches me somehow.
I was all ready to do the crazy man planting junks thing.
Came to my senses before it was too late.
Deleted the 1x1's and put out 48 hour production stuff.
Then I knew I had come to my senses.
And to make sure and as a constant reminder, I filled everything else with donkey stalls.

I hope my strategy will work until early February.

Best wishes to all going to the party.

A new farm will be started with fond memories of the annual event. It will surface.

No I did not hit my head this time. xD

The example in the FAQ (with Willy Woggle selected) shows that you'll see how many crops/fruit/animals you have with the amount you need:
76/7 Pine. There are 7 needed and you have 76.

I'll probably skip the products room, since I hardly have any products. If I chose to do that one, I'd probably have to buy most of the products, which could get pretty costly...... And since my goal is to have the stables and the trees I don't need to do anything from the products room, so that's all good :)

I'll probably first grow all the event crops I need for the first 6 levels of the first three rooms and then I'll go and check the crops/fruit/animals I need. I've got several of the higher leveled animal stables (my level that is to say :D) already out on the field and once I've got the feed, I'm gonna set a few others I haven't set yet, just to cover my basics. The lower leveled won't be a problem,s icne I've got 10 stables of each and they won't take as much time.

If it's going to be like the Panda comic, the crops/fruit/animals will probably be from a few levels below your current level up until your current level. The lowest I got in the Panda Comic 1 event was 13 levels below my current level (Crops from level 50 while my farm level is 63). So that's pretty doable, I think/hope :) I've got several hundred of each crop so hopefully that's pretty much covered. The fruit and animals is another story. I hope we don't need dozens of them. I guess we'll just have to wait and see :)

Dienstag - no you are not the only one....

I activated the bonus code and ate buffs. The event icon was in the timer so I harvested my first field but when I went to plant the event seeds, there were none in the seed window. I refreshed and the seeds are now there with a quantity of zero. Refreshed again and then locked out with the maintenance info. Thankfully I only harvested the first field so the rest of them will still give event drops-- I guess the first one is just lost. Pets (other than owls) giving EP will be lost too but so it goes....

After the last event's crazy start, I was careful about starting this event...*sigh*

Going to have a cup of tea and come back later and hopefully things will be ready to go...

Guess I have been lucky on this farm. Managed to get past the workmen and set up the farm with the first seeds. Illy is still watching the little dude making holes in the road! Oh well, serves me right for trying to go at it straight away - events have a habit of starting when I am working an afternoon (as it should have been yesterday, I wouldn't have been here to try to get a head start on myself). :inlove:

I have managed to stop myself harvesting since 8.00 this morning (only 6 hours! :wuerg:) and now we have maintenance. C'est la vie! :p

    Good luck everybody! ;)

refeshing somehow never works with me. So locking out and in has to do it.
I did read the announcements earlier and was obviously to fast and missed it.

Hopefully you still get the drops from your harvest PnP.
Illy, it always good to start soon with the 8 hour crops. It takes so long until there is enough for all fields.

I share a coffee, tea and some cookies while watching the computer and the snow on tv. (hope every one is save out there)

IVANCICA30, if the requirements are all that way, than we don't have to worry to much.

Just edited my long post as I completely misread your post lol! I thought you were saying I should plant long term stuff before an event! :D

I will be using three fields so will do the 8 hours until I have enough to fill all fields and then just do them overnight.
