    You need to do this via the news page, either when the game loads or via the news page icon on you left tool-bar.
    When the news frame opens, if it is not on the correct page, click the calendar icon on the left side and use the arrows to bring up the Birthday gift for you page. Then click the Let's go button and you should get a pop-up telling you it's been added.
