100 power feed but... 1760 tortoises, maybe I´m going to Market to sel some of them (about 1/2 of those tortoises is get with power feed and other 1/2 with normal feeding) - but we will see. Delivered left and middle step 1´s "4-free"

 

My pf and turtles are over, but I completed the event. Good luck to those who continue. Congratulations to those who finished. I had a busy and tiring week and I realized that I forgot to spend my season money. I wonder if it's just me doing this.

 

I got the left side and middle done I also did a few on the right but im not to thrilled with the CR or orange skateboard. I still have lots of turtles but all out of PF i think my other 3 farms will wait and hope for a baby boom this weekend i only caught the last hour of baby boom today good luck to all doing this event in part or in full and thank you *wisdomtree*

And yeah, 6550 PF is nothing compared to what some farmers have in their barns. I spent thousands of PF on clearing those breeding FSQs and doing every breeding event but others prefer to hoard.

Wow, I didn't think BP would actually go there. At the same time, I'm not sure how feasible the more typical 300-400 PF breeding event is anymore...

Woohoo for better rewards over the years that make it harder for smaller farms to keep up, I guess.

Can't help but wonder how much more insane things have to get before players realize less is more if we want events with more reasonable requirements.

I will still wait - I did have an "Ingrid's Student" which is giving me 6 PF per day and fell lucky with a Mysterious Seed Egg which gave me a few more plus I am collecting some along the way from Crates and the Wheel. I stopped feeding my (rarer) critters PF too so not using it willy nilly.

At full price PF breeding, I am lacking about 300 PF BUT I will wait till Sunday and decide whether it is worth spending my also depleted BBs on a PF pack. I probably will just for the fun of breeding!

I too finished the event. My best skip was ginger tortoise from regular ones and an aviator tortoise (I forgot from which breeding I got it. But it was a great skip). I am left with 191 pizza and 1 Energy Drink. When I finished I felt it would have been good if atleast few of it were real pizzas. I could have eaten some. I felt so hungry, tired and sleepy.

No. Once I was same as you. Only these few months, I am taking notice of spending the season coins before the season ends.

This time I remembered to use all my season tokens and I have Sonny on Park giving me +1 from stalls This time it was easy to choose where to use - Sandbox Snake Eye crops got some extra boost. Sometimes I use them to get more products from workshops, if I have workshops everywhere on Happy Workshop Day. This time I even remembered to use the last ones for extra EP.

 

Ummm..... my market is flooded with tortoises! I went to buy some and saw people selling 5000 for only 10k each!
Also I was so upset I missed the twin breeding. But thankfully they're bringing it back on Saturday.

 

I remembered to use my tokens on the last day! yeesh.

Okay, this farm got about 3/4 of the way through. Sewinglady's farm needs a few more energy drinks to get the pink stable. PM23's farm hasn't started the event.

I see we are getting a weekend baby boom but no Sunday discount day is announced. Sometimes they move that to Monday... But, since it's also farm-coin-a-palooza, I will breed over the weekend.

So what I know having done most of the event: 3 full sets of breedings: 132 tortoises, 132 mammals, 132 - about half and half tortoises and mammals got me to mostly done on the 2 farms. So that was 792 power feed.

I just missed out on first Baby Boom, As i busy with day outing, using my mobile did not have good internet connection so i wait until next Baby Boom

There i reading postings many of you not able to activate CR and plus few event prizes. There is no urgency to finish this event, I am laid back kind of Farmer lol

I always buy 100 PF using Farm Coins per Month but sometimes forget , I got too many farm coins nothings else worth spending them on as I use Super/Suzy and Jumbo Trees to get SG/Suzy and TM I don't spend farm coins on things i can grow, just wish there are new stuff or bigger bundles to purchase in Farm Coin Shop

We get PF from crates, I often get Farm Wheel Spins and Party Tickets which helps win PF on farmerama wheel too, Also get fair amount of PF back completing breeding quests too

I am still on the Fence with this lots of Power Feed for the prizes you get i might change my mind on Sunday still go ahead finish this event but i am hoping if i get some really good skips, but it down to just luck very rare getting super skips

No chance of Happy Discount Day cos we had it last weekend

 

I was also hoping for the happy discount day! Oh well, I'm grateful that we still get the Baby Boom! I really hate that those season coins disappear! I usually really need them right after the season ends, but don't have enough (of course), I'm still going to wait until Sunday to do my breeding. Wouldn't it be funny (not!) if every one completed the event now, only to find they decided to add the discount day later! I have over 1000 tortoises and already have the skateboards.

I'm sooo tired today! I wonder if that has anything to do with daylight savings time?

Does anyone over level 200 care about the EP/TEP? I find myself really disappointed when buffs for EP/TEP are the rewards. . . . .

 

Oh yeah, I care about EP buffs/rewards. Not so much about TEP. This farm is at 595 on baha and SL's farm maxed out a year ago. But, over level 200, the amount of EP needed to level up is ugly. Seriously ugly. 35.5 billion EP is what SL's farm is working on to get to level 240. This farm just leveled up and now needs 17 billion to get to 236. So every little bit helps.

 

Previous estimate: 428 tortoise breedings --> 214 energy drinks + 642 veggie pizzas
Actual results: 426 tortoise breedings --> 214 energy drinks + 638 veggie pizzas

I don't know if drop rates can be compared to a coin flip. A coin flip is, for most intents and purposes, truly random - as much as physics will allow, anyway. Drop rates, on the other hand, are typically determined by pseudorandom number generators (PRNG) which use complex mathematical formulas to generate seemingly random numbers based on an initial "seed" value. And I believe there are parameters that can be manipulated so the results aren't too random so as to avoid huge lucky/unlucky streaks and basically guarantee that drop rates will fall somewhere within the desired range.

This is why I have no problem with saying things like "in theory, 2 veggie pizzas for every other tortoise breeding which averages out to about 1.5 veggie pizzas per tortoise breeding" even though I wouldn't dream of saying the same thing about a coin flip. I'm not saying we're guaranteed 2 veggie pizzas on every second breeding (which would be wrong); I'm saying I trust the drop algorithm works well enough that all players will get drops somewhere in the target range. But yes, it's definitely possible to do 428 tortoise breedings and still end up slightly short on energy drinks.

I could be wrong but just thought I'd clarify what I wrote in my first post.

 

I too did some calculations. I bred tortoises 439 times. It gave me 611 pizzas and 215 energy drinks. Average of 1.39 pizzas per breeding & 0.48 drinks per breeding. Seems my rate is somewhat less than yours @zerodegrees.
