    Finished.
Goal met. Reached level 30 for the llama.
About 450 junks grown. Wow! I am amazed at myself.

A new player would probably start crying. WOW, the stunts BP pulls!

I wish you well with your junking and barn cleaning.

Does anyone have a strategy to error on the side of more crop, less drops needed or vise vera. I guess it would be wise to mill toward the end of the quest to make sure I have enough to finish the twelve and get the cloud row, but thus far I lack the patience.

Hi Lea, Bronze requires less crop but more drops to mill. Silver medium of both. Gold more of crops & less of drops than the other two.

Bronze mill item requires - 100 event crops but 60 event drops
Silver mill items requires - 200 event crops & 40 event drops.
Gold mill item requires - 300 event crops but 20 event drops only.

So we have to choose between less crops or less drops.

What is usually most difficult for you? Growing enough crops or getting enough drops?

I almost never have any problem at all with generating enough drops, rarely even pay attention to them anymore. Crops are more challenging as I only grow on two fields, magical glade is reserved for animals and trees. So I'm mostly opting for the lowest number of crops, in one case I decided the prizes were worth growing a few extra crops, so on layer four I'm going with bronze and gold, all the others will be bronze and silver.

As you say, if you want to be entirely on the safe side, you can wait until the end to see, if you have the patience :p

I am starting to fall behind on drops I think. I have my trophies at 28%. I need 3300 still. I planted a field of carnations to try and make some up before realizing the event crop has higher exp so I'm not sure how that will turn out. Would a 20 hour maple tree or 3 harvests of the event crop give more drops do you think? I don't have much leeway with crops but at some point it becomes impossible to make up drops too.

Edit: I have only been getting 30-38 from a stripped field of 1x1 event plants each harvest. About 1000 in total collected to this point I believe.

Time is the only known and proved factor for drops and it's known trees provide less drops compared to other items with an equal runtime. (T)EP or value means nothing here. In general: the longer time it takes for crops, stalls, workshops to finish, the better droprate.

With still plenty of time left to finish the event, it's a matter of growing enough event crops on Mainland first. Planting a long timed crop overnight does good to your drops without losing too much idle time.
As drops also come from bahamarama, planting long timed crops on all fields there is your best option to gain more drops.

For stalls and workshops it seems a runtime of at least 7:30 hrs gives a reasonable result. I got 9 drops from 13 stalls.

At the time you posted we were 31 hours into the event and you've collected around 1000. If you need 3300 more, that's 3.3 times what you have collected already, which should take you around 31 hrs*3.3 = 102 hours at the same rate. A bit more if you had a lot of starting drops. There is 113 hours left, so you are on track, but there is not a huge margin. If you can't increase the collection rate, you might consider going for some of the statues needing less drops, if you can grow enough crops for them.

  8. We are running through an event where the crops are being planted on the mainland farm, but drops are falling from the 3 main lands and the 3 tropical lands.
    - For the crops I have fully planted the mainland. I even grow the event plant overnight in order to catch up with the required quantities.
The event plant gives some drops, but clearly not enough.
    - For the additional drops I rely on the 3 tropical lands.
I prefer plants because I can reduce the maturity time by 20% with water, as also I can use different timed plants depending on my actual schedule.
Also tropical plants have more options of reducing the maturity time with the use of some cloud rows or artisan products.
I usually prefer plants approximately timed with the event plants during daytime, in order to collect them together with the event plants, and prefer longer timed plants overnight.
For now my drops are well ahead of the crops, even too far ahead I would say.
    ................
Reaching the trophies to 30% in the long run should be withing your plans.

Hey @-Borsty-, you happy with the progress? :p

Hope you like bronze and silver, cause there won't be many gold statues 8)

The last event I got one per stall regardless of length of time. This event I just got 5 from two neon camels but one from orange seals. I got less than 1 per field on a baharama crop with supergrow on a very longtime crop with comfort field. I normally get good drops with this.

I got the same number of drops from the 1x1 event crop with no supergrow a 4x4 with supergrow, around 35. An event comfort field with supergrow suzi, around 35-42. However, recently the 1x1 event crop around the edge of the supergrow yielded 10 percent drop on one field and no drops on another (same runtime as the comfort field with supergrow) I got 30 from a 2x2 of cactus, about 2/3 of these yielded a drop with 5.5 hour grow time with water. The Manufactury, ect has been getting 1 per animal regardless of longer runtime or neon upgrades.

Habalala got similar results with slightly longer stalls, as I have gotten with slightly shorter crops, but got the added benefit of the manure.

I have done a few Gold statues as I preferred the prizes and also I can adjust my growth of plants accordingly but I can not really control my drops precisely. Plus I got a head start with the +100% Harvest so thought I would cherry pick what I wanted! :p

I am now at level 4 and waiting for both crops and drops to finish these two states then I will grow as many event crops as I can and decide which statues I will build when I see what drops I have accumulated. :music:

I have the choice of two of these:

    15 Bronze = (1,500 +2,250) 3,750 crops plus 900 drops
    21 Silver = 4,200 crops plus 840 drops
    18 Gold = 5,400 crops plus 360 drops
I want Silver and Gold but will have to just see what I have nearer the end of the event. :D

    Good luck all! :inlove:[/user]

Hey, Mir ... no worries! When you said that, I checked if I was doing something really stupid going for Gold! LOL! :D I normally go for the easiest option but I actually thought this one through, sort of! ;)

Hi It sounds like every body is doing fairly well with drops . I really can't complain either . I have been using my Tiki Timer on some
Lablab-Bean on Baha and Rainforest and getting the following on each field 99- 102 drop so I think that pretty good each night.
Enjoy the event and Good Luck.

I am very short of drops. But not minding it because, I put out my lynx stables now and then when I get +1 stable bonus. But must do something about drops. Atleast tear apart baha and put 1x1 overnight crops for drops. But I hate to tear it. Putting it back once again is lot of trouble. Hmm....thinking what to do.

Finished level 5, I went for bronze and gold for the 4 Crate O' Fortunes. Going for silver and gold for level 6 because the Chinchilla has not made an appearance on my farms, yet. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
    Good Luck and Good Fun.

I haven't finished level 5 yet but I am the same on the other two counts, Joan. I want to do Silver and Gold for those Polka Dots and I haven't got a Chinchilla either! :music:

Of the 4 Crate O' Fortunes, this farm and my AmySue52 got no Crate O' Golden Animals. It's all good stuff, though.
Need 9600 Event crop and 1475 Smelters and the cloud row can start producing more Crate O' Crates. :p
