I like the look of this event, quite a lot required but not too astronomic for the majority of farmers. The barn items are not too high level and the amounts are reasonable. The prizes are worth the effort. :)

I am posting this early as I have just made my first donations and was a little unsure. If we are donating to Bronze, Silver and Gold tasks, why are they labelled Silver, Gold and Diamond in the FAQs - it is just confusing.

Not a big deal for most of us but new farmers may find this misleading - especially the Silver and Gold as they are in different positions in each case.

Edit: I would like to add that I like the idea that when we are donating, we can pick whether we donate Bronze, Silver or Gold Ingots according to whether we have more plants or plentiful drops. :music:

Please, mods, pass on the emotion of this to the developers and take none of it for yourselves.

    Developers.
Are you insane? Did it not occur to you when you wrote the following, how absolutely ridiculously stupid it is?

You have shown here a complete lack of intelligence on a level not seen since the caveman who invented the square wheel. Why on earth can't silver be silver? Duh?
If brains were water, you couldn't give a one legged flea, a foot-bath.

davidb1yth007, I am sorry you do not like the charts, but we use the same chart format as the ones used in the Farmer's Society Quests. This has nothing to do with BP's Game Team, it is the formatting program made and maintained by several Moderators and is used in many language Forums.

    Cheers,
    -Borsty-

    Oh I see. Repeat stupidosity.
Thankyou for your reply, Borsty. You have gone up in my estimation (there was no other way to go)...
I take back what I said. You could give a one legged flea a foot bath.....

The name of the statues could be changed to the same as the normal chart format, Silver, Gold and Diamond Statues? It would be less confusing. :p

Completed it with 42 hours to spare. It was a chore, the rewards don't justify the loss of growing time. My main complaint is with the structure of the crate reward; the disparity from the best reward to the lowest just irritates me. I won a crate of coins II and it gave me 1000 county coins. Why are such small prizes included in these crates, and while I am on the subject on the party spins?

Anyway, lesson learnt, hopefully, I aim to dodge the next mini game that is grow and throw and spread out over a week. Too long, too grindy. Not what I play the game for.

Update, second crate of fortunes.... crate of coins, 100 cc. Cheers, game.

I didn't find it as boring as a grow and throw event because it required some thought about whether to go for more crop vs more drops. That made it a little challenging for me in terms of strategy, and strategy is really what I find most interesting about the game.

I played only because of the final prize. I got 3 crates immediately and I won 1 duck from the golden crate. It was gratifying to win a golden crate immediately, but I realize it won't happen that often.

I expect there will be more golden crates with different animals in the future and if not too difficult I'm sure I'll be tempted, just as I was this time.

The silver bronze thing was confusing. It was a mistake on the part of the planners and I would take care not to do it again.

I like grow and throw events as I don't want to spend time playing boring games which take up so much extra time. This one straddled the line between the two.
As statues are made of different materials, they could have been made of wood, pewter, granite, marble, jade, recycled plastic for example then there would not have been the confusion.
All in all a good event. By all means keep the variety and I really think it is time to have an Easy Event for newcomers who may not have much open or available to donate. I know there are FS quests to do but an Event is something else a bit more special.
