Breed-O-Mat / Harvester

The breeding FAQ https://board-en.farmerama.com/index.php?threads/rework-of-the-breeding-feature.22815/ states that «You can harvest the breeding processes by clicking on the harvester icon next to each line, or, if you have the breeding machinery, by clicking on the harvester icon at the bottom of the window.»
If the "breeding machinery" mentioned is really the Breed-O-Mat (which is gifted as today's daily login bonus), then something is not right, as I cannot harvest my breedings automatically with it - I'm asked to buy the general harvester to do it.

Please could you check and give more accurate information?

Have you refreshed your game since you claimed today's gift? Have you clicked on the green harvester button at the bottom of the breeding window? Did you use the breeding window when the Breed-o-Mat was in progress?

Surely I used the breeding window when the Breed-o-Mat was in progress. What I'm trying to tell you is that Breed-o-Mat doesn't include the harvesting function. That is why when I clicked on the green harvester button at the bottom of the breeding window, I was redirected to the shop to buy the harvester. The general harvester, that is.

If you don't believe me - have a look at the pictures at your FAQ.
The "start breeding" window shows the breed-o-mat icon, i.e. a machine with hearts in front of it.


But the result window shows the icon with a barn, which means it is a general harvester function.


So my point is: the phrase «You can harvest the breeding processes by clicking on the harvester icon next to each line, or, if you have the breeding machinery, by clicking on the harvester icon at the bottom of the window.» is misleading. That is why I kindly ask you to check up the info and provide more accurate description.

 

It appears to me that @lidi-bug has brought up an excellent point. If I am reading this correctly, it's not that lidi-bug is having the specific issue. lidi-bug is just bringing it to the attention of the mods/devs that the wording for these harvesters is not very clear.

It requires the Breed-O-Mat (breeding machinery) to mass load the love shack.
It requires the Harvester (not breeding machinery) to mass harvest once breeding has completed.

So the issue here is that the descriptions need to be improved so as not to confuse users about what Breed-O-Mat does and does not include as it is very confusing to unlock Breed-O-Mat and not have all machinery functions operational while in the love shack windows.

Your Breed-0-Mat appears to be working correctly as show in your pictures. You can increase the number of breedings with one click as indicated by the small green button between the breeding number and the harvester icon.

By clicking the harvester button at the bottom of the breeding window you can harvest all your breedings in one click.

Intrepideur, I think you may need to reread OP's posts...

lidi-bug is simply pointing out an error that needs to be fixed in the Rework of the Breeding Feature FAQ, which is where the pictures that you are referring to came from.

With all due respect, there is no need for me to open my own thread as I have no question to ask. I was just trying to help the OP since it didn't really seem like you answered their question. Thought I might save them some time and frustration repeating what they said. Sorry if that offends you...?

Either you're wrong, or the German and Spanish forums failed to include this information in their FAQs.

The funny thing is, I have also found several threads on both forums where the mods (and users) confirmed that you need the harvester -- not the Breed-o-Mat -- to harvest all breeding processes.

Here is one example from the ES forum.
Again, not a question. Just thought I'd share an interesting observation.

The pictures in my second reply are not my pictures. They are the pictures from the FAQ. And the FAQ pictures clearly show and my experience confirm (and as far as I can see, zerodegrees and Decree have the same experience, so thank you both for your support ) that your answer

is wrong.
Harvesting all actually requires the general harvester function, not the Breed-o-Mat.

 

I am very sorry for the inaccurate information in our FAQ and relayed to the Moderators To harvest all breedings simultaneously, you need the Harvest Machinery. The Breed O Mat is only for adding multiples of animals to the breeding process.
The FAQ has been updated.

Thank you shooger.sweet for your interference. When all the request to check the information fall on deaf ears and you are persistently given the same answer (which just happened to be wrong) - it gets really frustrating really fast
