Breeding badges that keep disappearing in Wild About Animals

Like the event and very much like the rewards. But I've come across a problem with the breeding badges for both MM and arthropod animals. For both I've done two batches of abt 10-15 each, collected them, only to find they've either totally disappeared from my barn or have been halved. Checked if I made a mistake in the animal category and in the colour of the batches, but am sure I didn't make a mistake. Is there a hidden spooky animal eating my stock of what's happening??? I mean once is a possible mistake somewhere, but twice and on two different days? Please help. (Left-hand part of the event lvl 7/8, right-hand side lvl 5/8.)

P.S. Just made another attempt which was half successful. The arthropod breeding batches were there and accepted, but the MM batches are nowhere to be seen, even though I collected them.

You will find your breeding badges at the bottom of the event window associated with each breeding wheel. You can also find them in your barn under the Other tab. If you have already reached Level 5 of the right hand side, you have completed the MM badges required (only 20 were needed). The remaining badges are the wrong color on the MM wheel, but when you click on the requirement it is correct.

The MM wheel asks for not only MM badges but also arthropod and bird badges.

Perhaps you have donated your arthropod badges to both the arthropod wheel (left side) and the MM wheel (right side).
