    Hey Folks,

I am trying to finish the Clucks, Cackle and Co. FSQ and trying to calculate the number of chickens I need. I would like someone to check my math and make sure I'm right because this will also transpose to other breeding FSQ.

So, here are my numbers for the quest in order to finish it through diamond level.

This is what I need to finish
    2 Breezy
    3 Rainbow
    3 Golden

Now if I did my math right I would need (These are numbers I came up with without BB Days)
    8192 Chicken
    2048 Roaster
    512 Silky
    128 Crazy
    32 Gumbo
    8 Mini

I would like to know if my math is right so I can plan ahead for BB Days

    Thanks in advance

You might be right but I wouldn't bother, is the reward really worth all those chickens and PF???? Just saying... ;)

To be honest it really dosen't matter--Finishing this quest is a personal goal of mine. I find in order to keep this game fun for me is to have personal goals. Such as a certain amount of crops in barn, amount of feed, amount of CC, completeing FSQ's, etc.

This is one of my personal goals and if my math is right I can transpose this info to other breeding FSQ so I can create long and short term goals for myself.

Hi cookie :) Your numbers are correct for getting 2 breezys without any skips. But for the 3 rainbow you'll need an additional 12 breezy, and for the 3 golden you'll need another 48 breezy. That's 62 breezys total. Since your numbers are for 2 breezys, you need to multiply with 31 :oops:

But this is not that helpful. I assume you only breed during BBD, and when breeding a lot you always get skips (small and big) which reduces the requirements considerably.

    Good luck! :)

    Hey Mir,

Thanks for the clarifacation--I realized later that my math was for 2 Breezy only--and yes I only breed during BBD. I only asked because when I was doing the math is seemed like a lot so wasn't sure if I was doing it right. So, thanks much.

Ok, sorry for that that. Yes, the numbers are terrifying! But fortunately far from what you'll actually need. If I were you I'd keep track of the results from breeding chickens and use those numbers to get an idea for the other breeding quests.

I agree. Being "cost effective" does not matter when there is nothing left for which to save/aim. I suggested having a new land with special crops only available to higher level players as an option, but most people who saw the suggestion seemed to center on the "limited availability" bit and not the "I will get there eventually and might like this then" part.

I agree Woody--Cost effectiveness is not really an issue. But I will say, now that the BBD is done--I was able to get my 2 breezy chickens with an initial investment of only 236 chickens and rebreeding all of the results.

I like your suggestion of new land with special crops. It would be intriguing if those crops could be used for higher level people say with special events--I find that I am at the point where all I do for events is mass produce event crops because I have everything else that is needed--very boring.

Maybe there should be more events that are just barn cleaning events. Maybe I should make a player suggestion.

The one barn clearing event is the Harvest Hoedown (HH). I don't think many farmers could handle more than one per year, to be honest. Look up past HH in the archives to see what I mean. :)

When there is a new FSQ breeding animal, I normally breed until I complete the first 7 steps.
Then, the remaing steps, which are the last 3 breeding animals, are not worthy to be bred.
Check your market, it's cheaper to just buy them
