Breeding results

I have bred a variety of animals during this Baby boom edition but had a field of wooly pigs that the majority of the breeding results went backwards. Some, yes, did give a pot belly pig but the majority of that field gave a combination of brown and regular pigs. The FAQ does say 'normally' we would expect to get the next level up. Most of the time I do see the next level up (or a skip if I am lucky) along with either a lower or regular animals back but this morning's breeding was significantly different in that for that one field, the breeding did not give the next level up. Are these results to be expected? Did I have a visual glitch?

I don't remember the exact time but my post in the strategy thread is time stamped 1:15 pm. It would have been shortly before that.

I appreciate any help in this matter.

I apologise for the late reply. I have checked your logs and you have got at least 1 higher breeding pig from all the processes - mostly pot bellied pigs, but the baby boom extra result as well as the twin rune one can bring you the same or lower level animals, even 2-4 basic animals.

"n" is the normal result you get from breeding, which is supposed to be a higher level. "bb" stands for Baby Boom, and "r" for the rune.

All the other results look fine, these were a few of the latest examples. Is there anything else I could help you with?

Hi teddy, thank you for looking. These records show only a partial field of breeding wooly pigs. There were a few breedings from the field that did indeed give the results you show but there were others that the only result was lower animals. There were breeding results from wooly pigs that gave only combinations of brown and regular pigs. In fact, most of the results from that one field were lower. I did not capture a screenshot because at the time I just did not think of it but it was very remarkable and memorable that so many of them were lower.

Thank you teddy for the logs. That must mean I am having a severe display glitch but I had done all the troubleshooting steps as typically suggested prior to the event starting so everything should have been fine(cleared browser history, cache, updated software...) I certainly would not have bothered you had I seen these results during Baby boom. Very happy that I did gain a higher level animal as I worried my stock was wasted with the lower results. Now...just worried about what is going on with the display window....

I am not certain I am reading the logs correctly as some of the math does not make sense to me.
