breeding

I'm breeding reindeers, I put 4 pheremones on each pen by double clicking on the 4th pheremone. It says it will take 8? mins. I have just gone back and it says 2 plus hours and that no pheremones have been put on. What has happened, please check.

I've just tried with monkeys and the pheremone button is erratic, sometimes it works with 1 click and sometimes needs 2. The time changes from 2 plus hours to 8/9 mins and then back again.

 

djh99, I am not a MOD, but I only have to click it once, the pheromones, for them to work and stay at the level wanted. If I want 4 I click the 4 bottle once. I always look to see how long it will take before I add powerfeed.

 

Thanks for the help. I have now found, I think, that when I have click the 4 phere button it stays that way for any other pens I set up. That is why I sometimes clicked once and some times twice, I was actually clicking the 4 phere button off. This is very confusing and I am left with reindeers that need another hour!

 

Hello dj99,

If you click the amount of pheromones before selecting amount of Breeding rounds, they will be added to all rounds selected. Animals can be fed pheromones after the breeding process has started to reduce them quicker. In the "overview" tab, you can click on "add pheromones" on the lower right hand side.
