More and more buffs (boosters of some kind) are being introduced. These buffs used to come from cloudrows only but are now also handed out by rewards, givers, the farmwheel and some special ones are buyable in various shops as well.

I think for every somewhat advanged player the in game management of these buffs is becomming plain awefull, almost a burden, due to the amount and variation of buffs and the not yet excisting way to handle these buffs the one way or the other.

    Let me explain:

After each harvest of the Magic Stalk, an overview of what is collected, including run times, is shown but the overview vanishes on leaving the Magic Stalk and it can't be reviewed any time later. Buffs acquired can only be reviewed by using the buff icon on any field.

After each harvest of the Pet Playground, or any other field with a giver which hands out a buff, the game presents the collected buffs briefly in the yellow pop up bar and in the general taskbar, but does so without mentioning run times. Again buffs acquired can only be reviewed by using the buff icon on any field.

Buffs won by the Farmwheel or manually activated by a player (the ones bought from a shop or gained by Fuzzles/game reward) go straight towards the buff icon.

For sure the buff icon presents all active buffs, so far so good, but at any time the buffs seem to be shown in a random order. There's no logic in it at all. The one moment a buff is presented at the begin, a minute or ten minutes or even a few seconds later the same buff can be found four or seven scrolls later.. Apperently there's no fixed sorting order.

When using the only option for review, the buff icon, only by hovering over a buff a player is able to see the time remaining for that buff.

Imagine a player who has over 50 buffs (a low estimate!) running at a time and who likes to know how long that one specific buff he's looking for remains.. I tell you scrolling thru 50+ buffs presented in the buff icon is no fun and once found (if lucky it's found in a single run from start to end, but not always) , then to hover over it to see the time remaining, then to notice there's 1 hour left for that buff while you needed 1:05 but it took 5 minutes to find out.. I tell you: it's highy annoying.

So my plea to the Game Team is to come up with a solution which will give players a decent tool to manage all of their acquiered buffs. The ever growing amount of buffs and the importance of using buffs in a player efficient way allows such,

    Ideas:
    * allow players to review their latest harvest of the Magic Stalk, with updated time remains.
    * once added to the buff icon, quit moving buffs around. Keep them at a fixed place for as long as they are active.
    * add durations -time remaining- for all buffs presented in the buff icon (like in the event icon)
    * give players an oppertunity to sort the active buffs presented in the buff icon (time remaining, harvest bonusses, crops/pens/workshop bonusses .. anyway YOU can think off)
    * add durations for all buffs in the yellow pop up bar and in the taskbar
    * maybe even devellop a special buff management tool

    /end of vent.

This is a great idea. In stead of a long bar with all the buffs, lets have a bigger layer, with different tabs, options to sort and search.

And since many buffs are active only on some fields, it would be nice to be able to filter for each field.

Yup, something which looks like the result pop up in the Magic Stalk and which includes all running buffs and is actual and has options.. To have something like that whould be very very nice.
But to be honest if they only quit moving buffs around in the long buff icon bar I'ld be happy too, at least for the moment that is :)

Super idea. At the moment I just activate them all and rarely bother to look at them again, except if there is a +1 from the farm wheel, then it is nice to know when it runs out.

  6. Excellent idea. The buff list is growing too long and too difficult for a proper overview.
It could also be a good idea to group identical buffs with identical remaining times.
For example multiple owl trees or multiple crow trees collected with the harvester in the same field (or pet playground).
Showing one owl tree buff with 80% is more compact than showing 8 owl tree buffs of 10%.

I'm still in the pen fight for buff slots. I'd like to see 2 Diamond, 3 Gold, 12 Silver. Dream on right?

    Thanks for the input @saturnia22.

I agree it would be nice to have more buff slots but it might have too many aspects and too much impact when it comes down to overall game control. No doubt more buff slots would greatly improve the general game play experience.
My idea only aims for an adjustment in the presentation of the buffs and to create a tool which gives players a possibility to manage it the way they prefer to use buffs.
