Dreaded shop-a-holic meetings? But I do give red punch out at the meetings:cry:

Congratulations on having 2 skating ostriches! I have none. Someday, if I have 2, I will have them go to the Olympic training camp and see if they can bring home the gold (golden bananas that is).:p

Seems you have a way with these delicate matters, it must be that sweet nature of yours!

    Olympic T C xD
I tried to send the mate to one of those, to take his mind off the loss, but low and behold didn't have enough for the fee....now, about 35 eggs short:oops:

I was also sad when I sold my circus panda :( He was my first pink animal, got him from a skip :) Now I have a candy goat and a alien bee sitting in my park :)

Hmmmm...that is the same question I would have. One gives lots of BEP rewards and the other gives 2M CC. Nice change to fund another venture....

Thanks pnp!;) Yes, I think I will donate to the Soup quest....but I'm just going to admire it for a while first! :pLOL

Well, Wolfeyesone, before, I would recommend to donate it to ostrich breading for the 2 million cc and 30 power feed reward, but now I think soup and friends EP reward is much better, it will take me around 1 week or more to get 1 million EP normally, and this is 3.8 million and for baha it is 1.1 millions EP, that's 3 or 4 level jump in 1 step to me, may be 2 or 3 levels for you if you are over level 192.

My FOCD won't allow my to donate any higher levels animals to anything other than the breeding quests until they are complete.
So far only managed pigs, but I'm on level 10 on quite a few, several just need 1 more to complete.
My best skip this time was a circus monkey from squirrels.
manage to get a couple of sultan camels too, so progressing on that one.

Hi Brookeham, Congratulations on your Skating Ostrich ! very nice :D
I believe every farmer should focus on what will bring them the most personal satisfaction, for me the completion of the breeding quests has taken a back seat to finishing off the soup n friend's quest, I'm enjoying the one shot BEP. I hope to open my last remaining statues on the island before the coral reef surfaces, that's the goal any way.. The Golden donkey was the first to go, and probably the hardest for me. I loved the way it looked in the park and miss seeing him there, but he was a farm wheel win , that didn't cost anything...so.... LOL but after the quest is finished I'll start a new goal.

Hi Broke, focus please....xD red punch, money, hmm I feel a song coming on....

Which leads to Mir :music: Congratulations with your skips! I'm sure they'll be more pink panda's for you, but for now your meeting your red goals. 8) Couldn't believe how many Alien bees were listed on the market here, 8/9 can't exactly remember, they kept selling too o_O Funny how each breeding event seems to have an over production of a certain pink animal or perhaps it's just my imagination.

Hi abubadi, yes, we share the same thoughts :p TY

Hi Jools, congratulations on finishing off your pig breeding! One down a few more to go, See, just goes to show ya how everyone's goals differ. Good luck with your camels. Nice skip, something about those circus monkey's freak me out to me I only see a big pink balloon hat.. reminds me of the horror movie "it"...

Have a great day all !

Do all of your higher level farmers only breed during BBDs, or do you continuously breed?
I have been breeding only during BBDs lately, cant make enough PF to keep going. Such slowww progress. Doesn't help that I missed all but 12 hours of it this time around~! :music:

Hi Shodack78, I used to bread on normal days, but not any more unless there is an event that requires some breading animals, first because we do not have the luxury of time any more, BP is keeping us busy with the events, and the time after events is not enough now a days to do our own plans, between restocking the crops and animals, and trying to achieve other goals like FSQ and farm orders, being a high level player means more long time crops and long time stables and products, plus the artisan village itself, it needs a lot of time or a lot of cc to buy the artisan products so you can level up, second, the results with BBD is way much better compared without BBD day, even with the breeding rune, and it is economically better to bread on BBD because of PF sales, and finally, after the huge amount of breading and power feed used you get bored, you need sometime to relax and change the scene and activity.

Hi shodack - I very rarely breed outside a BBD. It's usually for a special event, like the recent "cry baby"...and was on a very limited basis...and only for a few rounds of those specific animals. It's just not worth it, for me, to breed without the benefit of BBD.

You are so right....it takes the rest of the time to build up animals and pf and now pheromones too!

I too only breed on BBD's - really not worth all the PF otherwise, unless there is a breeding based event. I waited for a BBD to do the breeding part of the Cry Babies event and there was plenty of time to do the required breeding.

    Hi shodack78
Good advice has been mentioned already.
I was just wondering if you have opened the breeding runes as of yet,
if not they are worth the star usage.

I used to do the occasional breeding here and there without a BBD, then stopped for the same reason mentioned above.. results not worth the PF usage... I continued to breed only on BBD for along time.
Stumbled across a post from a player mentioning they were having some good results with breeding outside of the BBD's. This was "about" the same time the quest requirements were being switched up calling for more breeding animals. Decided to do a bit of testing .. thus far results have been surprising, higher level skips, pink skips I had yet to receive from breeding during the BBD.. enough to hold my interest and continue testing... Perhaps it's, Just good luck, totally random, or a bunch of flukes... not sure yet.. & By mentioning this, I am not suggesting everyone go to breeding outside of the BBD's or that you'll get these great skips if you do, merely passing on an observation.

Now see what you've done pink lady! xD

Sorry to hear that Mir !
If I may ask for one bit of info from you, how many breeding sheds did you try? and were they on the same field ? Just trying to collect some data and would be helpful.

  19. -Mir85-

    -Mir85- Living Forum Legend

One at a time, on the main field :) Didn't try a lot of times, only tried breeding high level (orange or red) breeding animals.

Just wanted to post, because if only farmers who were lucky post, the picture gets very skewed :p

Hi Mir, Thank you for providing that info, I've jotted it down. :D
Understand completely, that's' why I added the disclaimer:oops:

If anyone has bred outside of the BBD & care to share any info, it would be helpful.

    Enjoy your day farmers !
