I was checking My Market and I have notice their is a shortage of CAC and PJ as there is only couple of them Left to Buy

My Hunch is telling me that there are more farmers buying CAC/PJ From the Markets, Than those who Actually got the Resources to Make CAC or PJ to sell to the Markets. Or is Everyone is running low on Stocks of Sugar to Craft theses CAC or PJ.

Is The Majority of Us Using More Sugar then we can reap from our Farms. I Think so, As they are many Newbies Farmers who have been playing for a year or less, As They hardly got any Sugar Trees. Or is Unable to Reap Enough Sugar from our Fields to Meet our Demands of Sugar.

Also for Newbies who Must get Confectionery to Level 4 to be able to Craft Their own CAC. As without a Doubt CAC Certainly Essential to be able to complete Events asking for high amount of Event Crops or other Crops

Also we have to consider that some farmers to who normal Craft CAC or PJ sell to our markets have left the game. It these Farmers or more likely to have a Bigger Hoard of Sugar Trees compared to Newbie Farmers who only got handful of Sugar Trees or None at All.

It Does consume 70 Sugar to Craft an CAC and 100 Sugar to Craft Easter Marmalade. We do have Beady Eye Jelly to Boost our Sugar Drops by 50% but it is a gold slot Product which we prefer to use EP Boosting Products.

It would be nice to have third gold slot to boost our Sugar supplies. But if it a Tread that there is Sugar Shortage to Many of Us. Unable to Craft CAC or is Unable to Buy CAC from the Markets. Then WHAT !!!

It seems that recent events or previous events always have High Demand of CAC or PJ. For Near Future Events will the Trait will consume more Sugar than we can Actually Produce !!!

If you have CC to Buy CAC or PJ it does saves you lots of Sugar in your Barn rather the depleting you Barn Stock of Sugar. As I Keep an Minimal Level of Sugar at 20,000 as it my FOCD Thing ;) any thing surplus to that I Make CAC or EM

Feel Free to add your concerns too. Or you one of those who can never get enough sugar lol, or is any of you actually used Beady Eye Jelly. Majority of us cannot make Beady Eye Jelly, when i need it have to buy it from the Markets.

Market 34 has 19 pages of CAC and 9 pages of PJ for sale. I make my own unless I find it at a good price and yes, CAC and EM are sugar hogs. I never use beady eye jelly-- it is expensive and it does use a gold slot that I am not willing to give up...when I grow crops, I use EM and ZAB in the gold slots and when animal husbandry, I still use EM (daily) and a Valentine Pot.

104 listings for CAC in market 9 - hovering at 62,000CCs Around the same as what I paid for one yesterday so I could finish the event quest in time.

Both markets show at 70,000cc+ for CAC and 8,000cc+ for PJ. CAC on this farm has 85 offers and illy's market has 33 pages so for the moment no real change. I buy CAC for this farm and make mine (or buy if it is cheap) on illy (always keep a stock of over 100 - just in case!). :)

CAC is running at 70,000cc + with 63 entries in my market this evening. Certainly more expensive than it was. I agree that many events demand the use of CAC to complete the higher levels and it will become a more expensive commodity. For those players without sugar trees this could become a problem, which I am not sure that the game developers have considered. There are many pens/trees etc which are no longer available so I wonder how new players will be able to complete the FS quests in the future.
As far as CAC is concerned, I am able to make my own and sell some surplus, so I am fortunate to be in a comfortable position.

I've tried Beady Eye Jelly (gifted to me) but didn't seem worth the price. The last couple of events have had a high demand to use CAC or PJ that could account for the lower numbers available for sale and the higher price. I make my own and only run low when I've gifted a bunch.

    Market 14 has 8 pgs (45 offers) of CAC starting @ 57K & 17 pgs (101 offers) of PJ starting @ 10K.
CAC got up to 90K during last event.

It's possible some markets may experience shortages for a whole lot of reasons. As it seems players are sorted to a market at random when they 1st start their farm & that is their market from then on, but their artisan choice isn't made until lvl 40 (if then). So more farmers may not be choosing confectionery in a particular market as well as older farmers leaving the game or not participating as much. In addition to any shortage of sugar. The pure size and number of players should help to lessen these effects in the long term, but there still could be short term effects in some markets.

I'm not going to start any artisan craft for the foreseeable future, so will have to rely on awards & purchases for CAC & PJ. Was able to complete everything except the diamond lvl of the 1st & 3rd tasks using 1 CAC & 2 PJ. This event was rated as hard, so am satisfied with the results. As long as I am able to earn sizable CC's selling goods/animals in the market I will purchase my confectioneries. But I do limit myself to using only 1 CAC per event. so will always find finishing events a challenge. My choice. (So when I read that someone keeps 100 CAC in their barn just in case, I have to chuckle after feeling a little in awe).

Only 7,400 PJ to dump on the market and will hold the CAC for now. No rush with PJ dumping either. Very predictable what is happening.

CAC and PJ are sky high on my market and, they seem to be snapped up pretty quickly. I try to make my own, so don't buy but I thought I'd have a look to see what was going on.

Thanks for your Feed Back The Supply and Demands of CAC does relate to current Events Demanding Loads of Event Crops to be Grown while a crop demanding Event is Running.

When we have events that need to grow event crops that takes 8 Hours to grow, the Price of Manure goes sky high. But currently we have an Breeding Event which is not a Crop Demanding Event. In General Most Crops Prices Cools a bit in the Markets, Also Manure always falls to it lowest prices when it comes to Breeding Events, As we cannot use Manure on Animal Pens or Breeding Motels,

It is the Best time to buy up Manure to Stock up for Future Crop Demanding Events. Also the Markets have a good supply of CAC and PJ in the Markets it is off that they did run out almost in my market few days ago. But the other Markets seem to have a good supply of them.

Therefore some markets it is rich in CAC Growers and CAC Sellers. In Other markets it can be in short supply. Anyway This Breeding of Baby Fouls and Baby Calves FAQ will reward us with some CAC so Technically CAC Prices should fall for a bit.

I am one of those Farmers who has over 20,000 Sugar, 20,000 Salt, 20,000 Herbals and over 40,000 Wires and Mandrakes in my Barn. I do not use Mandrakes at the Moment nothing is worth Making in Alchemist, But Mostly use Sugar then it is Salt, Herbals i use from time to time and Wires only to Make Terror Bouquets ;)
