CAC

When I got up early this morning, there was CAC already running with 14 hrs remaining. Would you shed light on how this is possible? Yesterday, I ate one CAC, ZAB, SRJ, and carrot bread. I replenished the carrot bread as needed. I went to bed very early last night and never activate CAC before bed.

I did notice that yesterday morning, when I clicked on CAC, it did not activate right away but as you can only activate one CAC in the buff panel since there is only one diamond slot, it should not have activated more. I thought it did activate (it always does) but when I went to click the gold buffs, there was no CAC so I clicked it again to activate. I always 'eat' buffs from the panel and not from the pantry.

Can you help me clear up the mystery?

Hi pnp If there was a lag, it is possible that you ate two CAC's clicking the same diamond slot.

It happens to me with water when I am too impatient. In the harvester I click to refill the water and then immediately try to use the water. If it hasn't registered yet, I often end up paying for the water a second time {Currently training myself to be a little more patient, i.e. wait half a second }

Now I learned one can eat buffs from the panel didn't know that thanks pnp

 

Mir - I found that I have also paid for water twice..I notice it more on the island than main farm. I always use the harvesting machinery. I have not found a pattern to when I click and it lags that it will indeed show up if I am patient vs it really did not register and I must click again for it to function.
I did not know I could eat 2 CACs clicking diamond slot. When I have eaten multiple CAC before I always had to do it from pantry as once the buff space is full, it won't open to add a 2nd.

I have checked your logs and indeed, you ate 2 Chutneys yesterday:

It shouldn't have happened indeed. Through the buff panel, you can only eat once the diamond products since there is just one diamond slot, but it sounds like your data didn't get to update, since there is a gap of 12 seconds between the two actions. Probably you have clicked too quickly and tried to eat a new one.

In this cases, it's better to refresh the game and see what actually happened, this should make the buff visible. Unfortunately we are not able to return your CAC, but you might wish to contact our Customer Care Team and see if they can assist you with this.

I am not asking for the CAC to be returned. It still had 14 of the 16 hours left. I was just curious how it actually happened. As it was the first harvest of the day, I did not think I needed to refresh because I had just logged in. I have noticed that sometimes refreshing with F5 does not always work and I have to use the refresh button in the browser address bar to refresh.

You are most welcome Well, it is worth mentioning, since it was unintentional and hours have been wasted overnight.

However, the F5 has the same effect as the refresh button on the browser menu, or the right click -> "reload" option - and it is actually the "shortcut" to activate this button by pressing a key only. So if F5 doesn't work, it should be just a coincidence, because they all have the same action and effect.
