    Even though I completed the last mission, the timer did not show that it had completed the mission. It did not give me the rewards.

    You did not complete the timed section of the quest within the allotted time, so no rewards were booked. You would have needed to restart the timer and harvest the required sweet potatoes while the timer was active.
