Cannot give items

    Hi all,

    I am trying to give away a couple of items to neighbours in this G&T event and have noticed that I have two upgrades in my inventory that are available to give but when I try to give them to neighbours a message pops up saying "You do not have enough goods".

    I am assuming that this means upgrade items cannot be given away, in which case, why is it available to be given?

    The only other reason I can think of is that my neighbours do not have the base on which to place the upgrade. Is this a possibility? And does this therefore mean that I may be able to give the items away if I can just find a neighbour who has the base available?

    Of course, the third possibility is that I should be able to give these items away (since they show up when I go into the 'give' tab) but there is a glitch/error in the system that is preventing me from sending them.

    Not a huge issue - I guess I am just looking for an explanation as to why this may be happening :D

    Hello squigglegiggle.

    All special stables and workshops from events cannot be gifted.

    If your neighbours haven't reached a level or opened the statue to use the item it cannot be gifted.

    Thanks for that. Specifically I am talking about the yellow upgrade of Miss Moo Takes a Seat and the yellow upgrade of the Birthday Castle (both very old EP givers). Are these able to be sent? I assumed since they are able to be selected in the "give" tab, I would be able to send them, but when I try I get a message saying "You do not have enough goods".

    EDIT: Update - I cannot sell these items either. Do I therefore take it that, whilst the Gift and Trade window allows these items to be selected for sale or to be gifted, in fact I cannot remove these items from my inventory?

    Yes that is correct, already upgraded deco items cannot be sold or gifted even though they may show in the window and be chosen. This has always been the case o_O

    No, that's all, thanks Shooger. I just wasn't aware because I didn't see anything about this in the FAQ and have never tried to move one of these items on before. Just wanted to check all was in working order! You may close :D
