can't donate scissors for gift

    I have one pair of scissors and have tried to open a gift, but the "donate" button is not there, only the "buy" button. I have refreshed. I have logged off and logged back in. It is in the Mall. I have opened two buildings and received 2 scissors for each. I was able to open 3 gifts. Any help would be appreciated.

    It is showing as locked.

    Hello sadiesmom1,

    Only the presents that are near the connected buildings can be opened. To open other presents, you will need to donate to the connected building.
