Can't log in from my Chrome account

    I have a Chrome account Aetheria14 # 52108944, and can not log in. It has been a few days and still nothing but a blank white screen. I noticed others had mentioned this issue, so I have waited to post. I presumed it would be fixed by now. Is there going to be a resolution or have all of the Chrome accounts been dropped?

    I am a little confused as to my options. My Chrome account Aetheria14 #52108944 is a level 94 farm that is earned dozens of cloud rows, givers, wonder stables and trees - not to mention a massive amount of crops, animals, workshop products, crafting products.... If this glitch caused by Google Chrome is outside of the tech team's ability to fix, will there be an option to move that farm to a Bigpoint account? If it is not moveable or fixable, at a minimum I would like have the option to send some of the best stables and givers donated to my many loyal friends and neighbors rather than just have it all waste away in an unusable limbo.

    If in the future Google closed it's doors, you would get to transfer your account, but we have heard no news of this. I am sorry you are unable to access your farm still, but as of yet, we have no further news to report seeing it is the weekend still.

    I too have a farmerama account that I access through Google on the Chrome browser. It is advanced (level 92 or so), and it has now been a whole week since I have been able to access it. And in fact, in order to report the problem I had to open a second account that I logged into directly from the Bigpoint website. This is ridiculous. Why did I have to open a second account just to communicate with you? I've spent some real money on my original account and enjoy playing it. But given all the bugs (Cinema issues, being unable to login, being unable to easily report the login issue) and the lack of response from the administrators to the issues, I have begun to wonder if the game is worth it. I will check back here for a couple of days to see if the problem is resolved, or if any reasonable explanation has been provided. If not, I guess I will stop playing the game and retire both accounts. All these bugs and lack of responsiveness have taken away the enjoyment from playing the game.

    It looks like Google accounts are no longer usable, yet still no resolution? It is very disappointing to keep logging in for days and days to find the same blank white screen.

    Unsure if this is helpful I only log in though Chrome and I am still ok. Is it just a browser issue? (can you use another one?) or a different method to log in.

    Amygoodness, Thank you for trying to help. I enter the game through the Google Ap when I started my big farm. I was exclusively using a Google Chromebook to access the game, as the option was prominently suggested as a great game at the Google Ap store. Using a Chrome browser is not the issue. When I first replied the ap log in page was taking me to a white page, now the Google Ap access button is greyed out. It does not appear that all of the tech team are aware of this, as the support reply I just received did not acknowledge or understand this. Yes, I am accessing Farmerama through Bigpoint just fine using Chrome. For technical reasons that I do not understand Bigpoint and Google treated accounts created through the Google Ap differently - using the ap page to access the account is required but currently disabled.

    I have contacted support, but sadly whomever got my email did not give any answers, and seemed to not understand my situation. I have sent a second email with more details, but it confuses me greatly - I expected that all support team members would be prepared.

    I have copied below the two very confusing emails I received from support when I asked what is happening with the Google + accounts. I did not ask for a change of email address. The second reply states I must follow the procedures mentioned below. My question: What is an "identification document"? I have never sent nor received any forms or information to Bigpoint, I just signed up and played this game for years. Also, this was a free game, I do not have any payment receipts. Hoping someone on the forum has seen this and can explain it.

    Hello Gabeeight,

    Communication with Support is not to be posted on the Forum.
    In order to regain access to your account, you need to provide the information to Support as proof of you being the account holder. An "identification document" is any legal photo identification, driver's license, passport etc.

    We cannot help with this issue on the forum, you will need to communicate with Support to have this resolved.

    Thank you for replying Shooger Sweet, but I am still as confused as before. It appears to me that all of the Chrome + accounts are still disabled, the log in page still has the google ap option in grey. The only "support" offered was to correct my email address, which I had hoped was a translation error, as I did not request an email address correction. I did not need to give personal information to create this account, and I am incredulous that it should need to be provided to correct an email address. There wasn't any promise of regaining access to my old farm in the reply from support.

    Hi Gabeeight,

    I had the same problem with my Chrome log in. I contacted support and they needed to confirm my email. I then emailed a copy of my id as they requested. When they were happy that it was me they sent me a link, I had to request a password using my user name, and I am now logged back into my farm and everything is as I left it. I am also a level 94 player and I have always used the google log in. I now log in on the left hand side which requests username and password and not on the right side which now has a greyed out google log in. I know this is probably hijacking your thread but I didn't know how to contact you direct. Hope this helps.

    You need to send the requested info to Support as verification that you are the account holder. Only then will Support be able to fix the login issues.

    I hate to sound like a broken record but why is my personal id required? We live in an age where sharing such information leaves you open to all kinds of trouble. I am not clear on how the id information is authenticated and for what purposes will my personal data be used, so I will pass on the fix, you can close this thread.

    All information shared with Bigpoint is secret and confidential. I am sure you can understand that this info would be needed to verify your account or else anybody could claim the farm as theirs and gain access to your Farm :eek:
