Can't seem to ge tthe last refinement

Good afternoon Mods,

I would like to kindly ask you to have a look at something for me, either it is purposefully ridiculously difficult, or something might be wrong. I am trying to refine the Iris and have received all refinements except the one I want, the reduces 25% super grow time. However, and you can look at my game logs to verify this, I keep trying and trying and trying and it never comes up, just EP, SG, etc.. Could my game be assuming I found them all and as such not coming up with this last refinement? I understand it is meant to be hard but you can see how much I have been wasting looking for it, and am now starting to think something is wrong with the game itself.

Are you accepting all of the refinements as you get them? If not you should be. The mods will correct if I'm wrong, but I understood the process to be X % to get a refinement. Then it is a random refinement from the list available. Each time you accept/ keep a refinement it is removed from the list (i.e. the possible refinement list gets shorter). This leaves you with increasing chances to get the refinement you are looking for. I refined Irises just last month. I stopped after getting 8 out of the 9 deciding I didn't want the one you are looking for.

I am now refining Globe Berries. Looking for boards, shovels and the top tier manure refinement.

So far my experience has been that you get the lower tier refinements first, then middle, then top tier.

Good luck. I had at least 3-4 rounds of large plantings where I didn't get any refinements.

 

Hi sueperkins, I have been accepting all refinements, so I have all except 1. The last 1 missing is the one I really want but everytime I refine I just get other prizes, but I have refined maybe over 10 medium /large times with all other refinements achieved except this one, and still I don't get it, I get SG, EP, 480 iris, etc.

 

ah, The consolation prize for not getting a refinement. I misunderstood your earlier comment. Since there are also refinements for additional EP, SG bonus I wasn't sure you were accepting them when you received them. Sorry for my confusion.

Do you know when you have a technical problem for the longest time, and when you call over a professional to show them/fix it and then the thing bloody works and it seems like you are crazy?
Oh well... Two more large refinements after posting this I finally received the final refinement!!! (facepalm!!)

That much unsuccessful tries Those refinements on the right are always hard to get and they often require a lot of tries. I am having one eternal refinement going on.
