Can't seem to message people on my friends list

    Hi, hope I've put this in the right section! I have tried sending igm's to 2 different players but each time it says 'this player does not exist'. These are people in my friend's lists, I have messaged them before with no problems. One is a fairly new player so for all I know could've left the game but the other is a very well known 'face' on here and is a regular high level player...any ideas?
    May I just add aswell as it might be relevant, I was unable to post threads earlier on and kept getting something to do with a gateway come up instead..this could be a coincidence or it might answer this problem but as I am not techno-savvy I have no idea which!
