Carnival Extravaganza

Some crates I wait until I have over 100. Some crates I'll open when I amass around 50 or so. Crates of buffs, I like to wait as long as I can. The kung fu tiger crates, I'm with Northy - I open when I get around 50.

Both farms finished this event (as far as the points/prizes go) yesterday afternoon. Slept through the night (well, sorta, I'm old, so you know, but I didn't get up and poke farms). I've also played off all the mini-games, but since we still have today and tomorrow morning, I'll at least collect tridents and play those mini-games off. Yes, I'm hoping for more crates of buffs.

 

I thought I had further to go but I surprised myself and noticed I'm all done with the points. The rest is just for the candy.

The carnival queen feels stingier than it has been before but I did get a couple of harvester coupons.

 

It's my first one. I was gone from the game for many years so am like a newbie again. For people thinking the event got stingier, I come back from the day when the carnival events had just started and although I remember it being held on baharama and flinging out bananas like this one did candy - very useful to get the bananas in the early days, things back then were stingier if I look back at the rewards given vs the rewards these days. I bet everyone here has maxed out their sticker album already. Those kinds of bonuses were unheard of back then and when I first started playing the cloudrow didn't even exist yet.

The amount of EP and boosts everyone has now compared to back then oh and BB coins. I remember they were as rare as gold in my back yard - for a free player anyway lol.

Now you have BB trees and the Magic Hat Givers with events giving out BB coins. Back then it was when levelling up mainly and that was it for free BB coins.

I do want to mention some of the dubious new animals introduced since I was gone. I'va hardly added any of them because usually their feed requirements are so astronomical compared to existing animals it costs more to produce some of these animals in feed than it costs to buy them in the market. There are of course a few great new additions but many have just ended up in storage I find. Not a big deal. Refining crops is still as hard as ever. That has not changed one bit

 

Is that "Electric Dancer" a "superbonus" GIVER points-value over 9 millions and NOT going to CR ?!?!?

 

0.9 millions maybe You too? But I´m thinking the same, also that "Crowning Mishap" is CR-free-giver just under 0.3 millions basic-value?

OT but asking same time - >>"Cuddly Bear Egg" is a "pet" thinking if there was some OTHER EGG/pet also some time a go but what was name of that PET/EGG? (can´t find that!)

I find it hard to believe but I have actually got the CR. Now I am making my head spin to see if it is worth waiting for the last timer of the day (way later than I normally play!) to get the Piccolo Box. I will only try this if my sums are correct to get enough points. I will only be a tad short but it is not worth it if I am not going to finish!

Illy, I hope you got that last piccolo box!

This morning, the client updated, and my farms were "gifted" a rainbow and trident. I know this, because before I went to bed last night, I played all the mini-games on all 4 farms. And this morning, after my last harvest, I had an extra one of each.

I hope everyone got as far as they could. We still have a few hours - play off any remaining mini-games. Free goodies are free goodies!

 

I did finish and I got two Floral Tunes so good for the next G&T (if they are still worth anything lol!).
Not a favourtie event but glad I went for it, it made me think quite a bit - for two whole weeks!
