Carnival Queen and mini quest

Maybe someone can check my math but I think if you do the mini quest you can get 65 assembled baskets for about 13000 event crops? If that is true, then it's a much better way to get the baskets than milling, which will take upwards of 30k crops.

Yes, Laurelei, I also got the same no. 13000 crop.
If we do the quest, we can got 65 floral basket ,only need 990 drops.
For get Cr need to play 50 games, that is mill 50 floral basket need 1100 drops!
That’s Far better than grow & mill

But we all know, do quest need to get the exact amount of cops & drops to finished 1 step.
Also, Event End 4 march, but quest ended 5 march. edit: both end on 5 march.
So, farmers need to pay attention for this!
my startegy(if I do this event) will be done 4 silver level first, thus will give us 50 floral basket
to get the CR. any extra crop & drops will be donate or mill will depend on the qty and also time
left.
Remember, keep enough time for play the mini games & buy stuff from shop before event ended.

Edit : Oh, I saw FAQ which stated event start from 1 march to 4 March,
But event thread say it end with time quest on 5 march.
So... which is right,may be I need to post a question to ask mod.
2nd edit: post question and then Mod correct FAQthe wrong on date.
So, the time quest & event held for same period.

I, like everyone else, have been overloaded with event fatigue. However, this event has something that attracts my attention and makes me very happy. It has nothing to do with any of the prizes. It is the event crop. It is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of my grandmother who adored roses and and especially pink ones. They are a joy to plant and make me remember that special lady who I will always miss so much.

 

I agree pnp!!! What a sweet reminder of your dear grandmother. The pink roses are gorgeous!!! Pink roses are my favorite too! It reminds me of a Valentine event from long ago that also had pink roses.
The Carnival Queen is very generous this time out! If you have purchased the EP booster packs, you can reap major amounts of EP from her. Plus the candies really add up.......which we will be compensated for after the event.

• 1 Bon Bon = 85 EP + 7 CC + 85 TEP;
• 1 Chocolate = 90 EP + 6 CC + 90 TEP;
• 1 Lollipop = 125 EP + 6 CC + 125 TEP;

Is it better to get the floral baskets doing the FSQ or is it better to get it by milling ?

 

Definitely by the mini quest. The requirements are much much less.
Milling is for players who have completed the mini quest and have a surplus of roses and baskets.

what are the "snow white wonder trees" available for coins in the event? a search in the forums didn't find them. i can't find snow white on the wonder tree list - but i am not sure i am looking at the right thing. i wish the search function were better- or i were a better user of it, lol

For those want to get 2nd CR.
when collect goodies from carnival queen. Need to focus on star coins.
get one set of deco with CR need 850 star coin.
I had so far play 16 games. I only collect 350 star coins.
(first few games forget to pay attention for this and got not much star coin)
And then later games found that, the queen just only throw 1 or 2 star coin
1 throw will get 5 star coin. Only do FSQ give 65 floral basket
So, if farmers want to get CR and other stuff in coin shop.
Farmers may need to mill some more floral basket.
That mean you need to grow more crop and get more drops.

I seem to average about 1,000,000 ep per gathering so all good. Lots of other goodies too. I can now relax and just gather a few more although I have a busy day tomorrow.

 

Thank you very much dnin21cent! I was just winging this event and did not had time to read or pay attention. Until I read your comment I had not even noticed I would need to acquire items for the second CR with coins.

 

I am so bad luck
I had play 32 games, over half of them give me 1 to 3 star coin.
The ever best throw from the queen give me 30 coins. But that is a rare case.
except 3 to 5 time I cannot catch all the star coin.
I collect every one the queen throw.
And you know how much coin I collect .
32 games 530 coins,

Under this trend......
I may need to think :
Do I want the 2nd CR more than get more goodies from othe coin shop

 

Neddy38. I find I have to sacrifice some of the prizes thrown and concentrate on the Star coins but if one falls too far away I don't bother to try and get it as I am a bit slow moving the basket! My main problem is the the Star Coins look very similar to the Country Coins as they start to fall!

I'm having the same dilemma . I would love the EP from the CR, but I'm a goodie junkie . I think I might get the CR, and try for the givers from G&T, and spend the rest of coins on things that glitter.

Having the same problem here on main farm, tho 2 smaller farms seemed to get reasonable star coin tosses. Biggest issue for me has been lag; even had one game start, but not change off start page - I never got to move basket because couldn't see it . Still managed to get 10 star coins somehow, tho.

I've gotten the first CR, and have 61 games completed so far, which is better than I thought I'd do since I failed to notice the mini quest at the start and was milling my own at first. Will just keep playing as much as time allows me to harvest today. Hope everyone's having fun with this one!
