Carnival Queen strategy

I had another look in the FAQ and it states:

Floral Candy Basket

Ingredients: 250 x Sweetheart Roses, 25 x Candy Baskets
Time: 10 seconds
Price in Shop: 12 BBs

So I guess we are still able to grab unlimited amounts of goodies, even without growing crops and waiting for drops.. but at a price...

I'm all planted up for tomorrow hoping for maximum drops. I went with spelt cause every once in awhile I need to plant something other than carnations.

I also finished off the final step of my farming trophy. Perhaps the single most painful thing to do in this game. I've been tossing animals into the final abyss for a very long time and today decided to just get it done. My poor poor hippos...
Still it's done and I don't ever have to think about it again, which is a relief. Now onward to the Carnival!

I looked at the FAQs. I agree Carnival Queen is the way to go!
ltbit farm finally achieved Bat Breeding so will it will be breeding for hungry bats.

Looked at CAC - it is high in my market all ready and we are in between events. I think everyone is prepping for the Queen.

On a not so exciting note... I just saw over in general issues a question asked about the purpose of the candy points in this version of the carnival event, turns out they are pretty useless other than their ittybitty exchange values after the event . We will not get an extra prize for candy points like we have in the past. But that also skips the step of having to open the Carnival Queen, so like phoenixboy said... as soon as we have flower baskets milled, it's go-time. (And don't forget we get one flower basket free to practice/start us off). Guess they left the candies in the mix of tossed goodies to keep us cross eyed trying to look everywhere at once and also to water down how many of the valuable goodies we can actually catch

• 1 Bon Bon = 84 EP + 7 CC
• 1 Chocolate = 88 EP + 6 CC
• 1 Lollipop = 125 EP + 6 CC

If im not mistaken Peeps the candie is related to how many star coins you recieve to buy extra goodies in the shop, thats why my 1st item from the shop are the Super Dooper new love drugl

 

this is what I've understood as well, phoenixboy12...and this is what we will get once the event is finished (see FAQ):
The leftover event goods will be exchanged to EP and CC after the end of this event:

• 1 Sweetheart Rose = 12 EP + 8 CC;
• 1 Bon Bon = 84 EP + 7 CC;
• 1 Chocolate = 88 EP + 6 CC;
• 1 Lollipop = 125 EP + 6 CC;
• 1 Candy basket = 22 EP + 29 CC + 22 TEP;
• 1 Floral Candy basket = 1860 EP + 2480 CC + 1860 TEP;
• 1 Star Coin = 50 EP + 70 CC + 50 TEP;

So, good luck everyone! and don't overdose on all this candy

Just thinking with people saying about amount of crops required, didnt we have more or less have the same numbers last time to decorate the float but this time we use them to mill baskets. So we can get to the parade much quicker, think last time it took me over 3 days to get float done

Indeed Cassie Im glad Suzzee gave us the advice will see how it goes with the free basket. Last time I had to get laptop and do about 75 baskets in one go as tablet was lagging I could still see items been thrown at me after I had finished

 

Thanks for those asking if they any essential need to collect Candy using Floral Candy Basket, during 15 Sec Mini Game. As there is no need to collect candy points via Mini Game As All Candy have very little exchange value compared to collect CC x Farm Level or EP x Farm Level

Being just over half way on level 99 and desiring to join the 100 club as quickly as possible, I'll be a little more interested in the EP this time around (never was really before). Waiting for the event to start (3 hours 20 minutes yet ), I feel like a kid on a long trip; are we there yet? Are we there yet?

I have never been around for this event. And I think I want to try it because everyone is so excited it about it but I am not sure I will have enough time for it. And I just found out that it starts today so my farm is not ready.

 

Arielh Im sure you will catch up, its one of those events that you can relax about. Unless you after the CR but thats only 36 games you will easily achieve more games than that, I hope

Ariel, so glad to see you! You've never gotten to participate in the queen before? But I guess that doesn't surprise me, as you were very busy studying last year, and probably this year too. You've been missed. This year has the potential to be better since you don't have to build floats like previous queen events. Do what you can, don't stress, and just enjoy the event as you can. (Let me know if you need anything I can help with, since I know you've been busy with university ).

 

Arielh ! I am happy you are here. I know you missed out the last carnival event. I was thinking whether I have to send you an IGM, will you be login to your account to read it. Happy you are not missing this one out. Use supergrows ( + white innocence + fruit cake) to get your drops. You can get more of supergrows from the queen. So you won't have any losses. If you need any help we will help you out.


I remember last I was so tired for more than a month after playing the Carnival Event. It was so exciting. But for that game, we needed the basket alone to start the mini game. Then it was 1 basket = 1 mini-game. Now we need 250 crops & 25 baskets to play one mini game. So might be that we play less number of mini games. It depends upon the drops we recieve & crops we grow. Hope one mini event gives us more amount of goodies to make us feel satisfied. Positive point is we don't have to built the float - left side, right side etc., That's such a relief.

 

to those not ready don't worry... no building.. its plant , collect drops, mill and catch candies/goodies.. without supergrow (im just guessing least 2 times)i am sure everyone can still make it to catch least 2 baskets full..within the first 24 hours of event. 1 is free.. of course.

oh i hope i don't have to work today....lol


don't forget everyone... me and few others goofed when it came to plant event crops last event... must harvest what you have and put down some 2x2's plots first... to get what is it 90 crops? if useing SSG and CAC

edit: its 2x2's , then 1x2's , then if like alot of others its 1x1's

 

Me too, Spots! Can't do anything for thinking about it! I am going to go out in the garage and start sorting out some boxes that are calling me! They've only been there ten years ... but at least it will stop me messing up before the event!

Spots, yes I haven't participated again for the reasons you said. This year it is way better though. I have been very busy yes but not with only studying, university gives you so many other opportunities! But now it is exam month so I have only been busy studying. One more exam and I am again free

I have no idea what you had to built the other time, it sounds scary so I am glad we don't have it now
