Now we've found out they presented us accumulated totals on the level AND we are spoiled with dropping medals, the breeding event might be doable for all of us. Despite my previous comments and posts on it, at least I will give it a try too

 

Me too Habalala - I worked out (LOL!) that I have done one tenth of the event with my first harvest! Will concentrate on the Queen initially and then switch if necessary once I have got that one in the can!

I have planted onions and hazelnuts - the longest crops possible (and that I need) with my early start tomorrow - and see how I get on tomorrow. Good luck all!

OK, no more whining, got my free baskets, both farms.

I've got a farm to feed (literally) and then time for a quickie nap before my event crops are ready.
*Poof*

 

Had my 3 main fields in Gentiana and the 3 baha fields in a mix of different stables and trees. I got 258 baskets. 49 bronze, 55 silver and 20 gold. Will definitely go for queen, and see on the Bunny Love. Has anyone heard if we will have a baby boom this weekend?

I played once with the free basket the gave us and I already won so many rewards! I now understand why this is one of the most favorite events!

 

Played 12 games. ! 1 free game. Milled 7 candy baskets & got 4 floral baskets from the Queen. Initially I thought the Queen was somewhat stingy. But she picked up at the end. I have a feeling that Queen in this event will not be so bad. But will be less generous in PFs & SGs than the previous ones. But not stingy. Who knows, she might even improve as the game progresses on (if we all protest).

I'm thinking this is all about the star coins she is throwing. I've only seen a few SG, PF, SSG being thrown but lots of star coins. I've played 7 games and have 151 coins already, which I can then buy SG, PF or SSG with. There is a max on what you can buy though so it does seem as if the overall haul will be much less than past years but it is easier to get to the queen.

 

So, slept a whopping 4 hours (fighting insomnia lately ), laid in bed awake for an hour, then gave up and came farming. Just tried my free basket - is anyone else having lag problems? I played on 3 different browsers, and all 3 browsers lagged, tho Torch was the least offensive. Basket froze, Bonnie didn't start throwing things at me until only 4 seconds left, and I barely caught anything on bear and mini me. Will try the whole cookie cleanse thing and reload, hope it gets better. Overnight drops were good to me, had something like 246, and did a few rounds of instant carnations to bring my current basket total to 597. I planned on using lots of SG this event, and I'm well on my way, lol. Sounds like everyone's having fun, which is good. Glad you finally got your free baskets, Peeps! Oh, and without donating any animals, just medals, I've finished 8 levels on bunny love, so hope they keep falling from the sky regularly.

The cookie cleanse seems to have helped, much to my relief.

 

Yep Spots, got my free basket, took a while... but, lol I just lost one on this farm due to game lag/hang. 0 in that basket . Not worth bothering the mods and/or support about tho, win some - lose some. So I've played 11 games on this farm, 12 on the other... I was lucky and caught a couple flower baskets on both farms, so that's a nice lil perk. Like Clash said tho... seems to be mostly about the Star Coins. Not many of the other goodies pop up that often. I remember 2-4 PF, 2-4 FC, 4-6 SG and 1-2 GB (plus other goodies) per basket load being normal, not this time. The GBs and PFs especially have not been frequent flyers at all so far. But at least I've managed to buy 1 batch of the 20 Deluxe Pheromones with the Star Coins, and am close to getting my 2nd. I plan on getting all 5.

I am not at all liking the 250 crops/25 drops per basket, I liked having a ton of baskets to use up and just going crazy catching goodies for an hour at a time til I was cross eyed lol. Unless I get a harvest bonus or 2 off the wheel this is going to be a boring week long event with only making 7 baskets per crop harvest . It's still fun, just not as fun as it used to be. Bummer. Knew it was too good to be true.

I haven't... I'm hoping they do not skip it and ty to make us use the Deluxe Pheromones instead. A BBD with the some Deluxe Pheromones would be really nice, but... remember, we are talking about BP

 

I just read that we don't get any event drops (medals) from trees in Crystal Falls I have hippos, crocs, OR seals, and a few others plus trees that I need to build up in my barn. hmmmm....medals or barn stocking?? Think I will have to go for the medals bc it doesn't sound like the Deluxe phero's are doing much I could make a few comments but we are a family oriented game

 

After having played 25 games I have to agree and confirm that the amount of farm goodies and EP/TEP thrown at us is very poor, only about 2 of each per round. We have to get them from the shop and luckily the SC rate is decent. It's a real pity BP has limited the buys from there, no way I will see way over 10,000 SG in my stock by the end of the event, as was the case in previous years. No matter how many extra floral baskets I'll catch for free. Snif.

The candies add up fast and provide about 15,000 EP and 1,000 CC per game. Great for new players but a joke towards regulars who joined the parade previously.

Still a nice and fun event thou I vote for the Captain to go out on the seas and for the one and only real Monkey Queen to return in the parade.. and for 25 seconds per mini game! (So I can actually see what she throws and have a chance to aim for it)

Reading the thread - looks like confusion on whether to even try for the candies. The FAQ gives no conversion values for Candy points. I did my first basket and have 26 Coins - But didn't track all the stuff. No clicking needed just move the basket under the goodies.

Going for another go! Will track this time.

I agree. Candy points have no meaning at all in this event. It's pointless.

In the barn, in category "öther", you can see how many of each candy you have caught. The conversion rates for each candy is the FAQ.

Confusion is caused because:
The game result display shows the total of candy points gathered per round
The actual amount of the 3 different candies caught is in your barn

90 Lollipops in game = 10 lollypop candy in barn
36 Chocolate bar in game = 6 chocolate bar in barn
36 bonbon in game = 12 bonbon in barn

It's the actual amount of candies in your barn which will be converted into EP and CC at the end.

 

Thanks habalala. Unfortunately I played some more times and so I didn't get to compare your findings.
I have
520 Lollipops
492 Chocolate bars
438 BonBons in the barn. At least it is something at the end of the event . Can always use EP and CC. No matter how small.

Candies seem to be caught no matter how much you try to avoid them I have high speed internet and the lag for the event was yuk!
Maybe we can convince BP to invest in some performance improvements.

 

For some reason, even though my internet is crappy, I haven't had much lag. Some, but not much. I have had more issues with harvesting with the machinery sometimes. Typical BP.

 

After seeing the rewards of the monkey queen, went & updated the feedback thread with my views.
Do not know if I will continue after 36 mini-games, if this rate of reward drops continue. I am not playing this game to catch just the candies alone. Nor spending my energy & time to catch the candies. So if the reward rate doesn't increase, I will wind up the event after 36 rounds.
