Carnival Queen strategy

I found out candies are worth catching afterall. There's a decent conversion rate for them and HERE is how it works.

I'll keep growing Sweethearts and use them to mill more flower baskets!

 

Do you guys really think that if you do not state your disappointment in the feedback thread about the changes to this event and only give positive feedback and praise that we won't end up stuck with this watered down, disappointing version of the Carnival Queen from NOW ON?

No offense intended to ANYONE, but just curious why after the last 2 Carnival events, that Edit ~ some of ~ you guys are ok with this one . I don't get it. I pay lot to play... continuous premium, turbo mill, harvester subscription, BBs, XL PF packs, Wonder tree and Wonder stable packs etc (on 2 farms)... but maybe it's just a different perspective for those that play for free or on more of a strict budget? Being a premium PAYER, I really find this event very insulting and a huge let down this time around. I was 100% counting on it to restock my reserves back to my comfort zone levels. Not happening.

Can't buy the PF, SSG, SG, TM, FC and GBs we SHOULD be getting from this event with the candy EPs and CCs tho

 

Honestly, it's not as good as the last two incarnations...but in the grand scheme of life, there's so much worse. It's a game. A game that I'm not sure that I'm going to keep playing, so I'll take what I can get out of it considering I'm not playing much at all at the moment.

Yes I'm a little maudlin right now - my sister died of a massive heart attack while sitting at her desk at her job on Wednesday. At 11 a.m. I had a sister and we had plans to go to Tai Chi class that night and by 2:30 p.m. she was gone. In an instant, your life can change. This is a game. Go hug your families and live your lives. Your real lives.

 

I'm a premium player too, and I'm fine with the event. If event had been as generous as the previous one, it would have ruin a little bit of the balance of the game. Personally I think grand give-aways like the last one should only happen once a year.

I'm sorry to hear about your sister, my thoughts goes to you and your loved ones. We all should remember to take care of those precious moments we do have together.

 

Awfully sorry for your loss, dumbbunny. It is sad to lose a sibling. One who has been with you through out your life & sharing everything with you. Hurts a lot to lose them. Time is the best healer. May it lighten your sorrow & grief.

 

OMG, I'm sooo sorry to hear of your loss dumbunny... yes this game n events most definitely take a back seat.

ok i went to add my feed back...i too don't like this fake one.. but if they want to give us both then i'm all in... had they had a store to convert our candies which i thought that's what we could do at first... then it could've been better.. This was easier to get too and it does throw free baskets at times.. only good things i can say about this event so far...

I loaded the love shack with animals that I needed just the basic (non-existent) typical BBD skips from for working on some breeding FSQs... and HOLY COW!!!! I am now all the way to halfway thru the LAST step of Bunny Love with the help of all the medals I just got and a few hundred chickens!!!

PS... I did not use my Deluxe Pheromones yet, think I'll ride it out and rely on medal drops to finish Bunny Love!

I just noticed that in one of my parade float runs I got a floral candy basket. I must keep on the lookout for these. I keep watching the top of the float to discern whats coming up and moving toward it, I've managed to avoid most of the candy and get the stuff. Has anyone else seen these baskets?

 

Yes ma'am, for every 6-8 games that I play I get between 1-3 free baskets

It's tough losing Loved ones, especially as fast as your Sister!

My sister was a very compassionate gal - she worked in the medical field as a scheduler and so many people knew her. We have planned her memorial service and now I am wondering if the chapel will be big enough to hold everyone. We are discovering that many many people in this town knew her and everyone says how kind she was to them. It's been so hard on me because she was my 'little' sister, my only sibling and we were close - just lived down the street from each other, for one thing. I just never in a million years would have thought this would happen to her - she was the one who exercised, ate right, did all the things the doctors say to do...

Anyway, don't panic if I'm not around for a few days...I'll probably be back. Just have higher priorities right now.

 

My thoughts are with you, dumbunny, I also lost 2 sisters suddenly. Your sister sounds like she touched many lives and you should be very proud of her as she will live on in their memories and hearts.

 

dumbunny - so sorry for your loss. I too lost a baby sister when she was only 39. Prayers are with you!

 

dumbunny, I truly understand your loss. About a year ago I lost my Dad. My mother is going in for a double bypass on Sunday, was supposed to go in today but the Doc got an emergency from patients who are worse off than my mother. I am not worried, she is not, but I am thinking about it more than I thought I would. I know it does get easier with time.
