FAQ Carnival Queen

Reminder! All the info in this FAQ was correct at the time of testing. Some info could get changed when going LIVE, the FAQ will be updated as soon as possible with correct information, so thank you for your patience and understanding, and don't forget to refresh every now and then to check for updated info (particularly translation of names).

* From what level can we participate in this event?

You can participate into this event from level 3.

* How can I access the event?

* What is special about this event?

• There will be a special event crop:

Amaranth

Time: 6 hours
EP / Baha EP (2x2): 52
Plantable from level 3+ on the 3 main lands (main farm, green meadow, magical glade) and the 2 tropical fields (bahamarama, rainforest)

Every player will get 10 seeds at the beginning of the event. If you drop under 5 plants the system will check every 5 hours and replenish up to 5 seeds.​

• There will be two event drops:

Paper Strip

You will get these drops when harvesting your crops and trees
from all 3 main plantable lands and the 2 tropical fields

Candy Basket

You will get these drops when harvesting your stables and workshops
from all 3 main plantable lands and the 2 tropical fields
Needed for the mini event - 1 round costs 1 Candy Basket!​

• There will be one regular tool used in the carnival, having a higher drop rate during this event:

Paint

During the event, this tool will have a special behaviour:
It will be available from level 3, and you can use Paint (tools) from your inventory.
The Paint will have a higher drop rate while harvesting your fields during the event
Also, at the end of the event it remains in your inventory, since it's permanent. ​

• There will be 2 special Mill products, that can be milled in both main land and tropical Mills

Please note that main land water will be used even if you are using the Bahamarama mill​

• There will be a mini event requiring you to collect points coming from 3 different types of candies that will be thrown by the Monkey Queen during the parade (more info to be found below):

Bonbon

Value: 3 Candy points

Chocolate bar

Value: 6 Candy points​

Lollipop

Value: 10 Candy points

* How can I get more drops?

• They can be gifted to/from neighbours and friends, for free as long as it is one of your 5-7 free daily gifts, or for BBs (2 BBs/Paper strip, 3 BBs/Candy basket). You can receive up to 20 gifts per day.
  
• You can buy drops in bulk from the Shopping Center (see below)
  
• You can get some in the event baskets.
  
• If you have a Magic tree it will give 1 x Paper Strip per harvest during this event.

* Is there anything else I should know?

Yes! The event has 2 parts - decorating for the carnival, and then participating through a mini game.

This is how the event place looks like:

First, you will have to decorate the left side, right side and middle float by clicking on them and gathering the requirements listed in the left bottom side of the page, to collect the rewards listed in the right side. You can start all 3 quest sides together, or do them one at a time - as you prefer - but the steps have to be completed in the order described in the charts that you will find below.

After fully decorating parts 1, 2, 3 - the left, middle and right side float, the right side Carnival Queen will be unlocked!

Clicking on the monkey-carnival-queen will allow you to click on the basket icon (amount of Candy baskets displayed on screen as well) will start the mini game.

This is how the mini game looks like:​

Each round needs 1 Candy Basket to start. The carnival mini game takes 25 seconds. The decorated float will travel from right to left, the Monkey Queen throwing candies that you need to collect (2500 for the quest reward) - bonbons, lollipops and chocolate bars, each of them giving candy points. The total gathered can be seen in the upper left corner during the mini game. In addition to this, the Monkey Queen also throws special rewards you can collect: Amounts of EP, Baha-EP, CC, SuperGrow, PowerFeed, Suzy's Turbo Mulch, Suzy's Super Grow, Golden Bananas. To gather these, you need to catch their icons in the mini event basket, just like the candies. The total amount of rewards is displayed in a pop-up at the end of the mini event round. Please note: The amounts are random, there is no fix amount, however, the EP / Baha EP and CC amounts are depending on your account's level.

Tip: The lollipops give the most candy points, followed by chocolate bars and then by bonbons - if two sweets are flying on the screen, you may want to rush and catch the one with a higher value.

That is not all ! This mini event step needs 2500 candy points. After completing this step, you will be able to continue gathering candies (which will be exchanged for EP and CC after the event), giving you the chance to collect a lot more rewards!

Please note ! The mini event window will display 999,999 candy points needed for 1 EP given as reward - but this is just a workaround setting that allows you to continue playing the mini event for additional rewards.​

The Mardi Gras bear 1 item has been available through an event in 2012 initially, so it's a returning item. This item and its upgrades cannot be placed on the Moonlight Playfield, Rainforest or Bahamarama.

* Can I pay my way through the event?

Yes, you can skip the event steps by clicking on the Finish now blue button. The price in Barnyard Bills will be displayed on the button.

You cannot skip the last part of the event, the mini game - you need to play mini event rounds in order to collect candy points.​

* What will happen with the leftover event goods?

The leftover event goods will be exchanged to EP and CC after the end of this event:

• 1 Amaranth = 4 EP + 4 CC;
• 1 Paper strip = 6 EP + 6 CC;
• 1 Candy basket = 10 EP + 10 CC;
• 1 Papier-mâché = 200 EP + 200 CC;
• 1 Amaranth flour = 60 EP + 60 CC;
• 1 Bonbon = 10 EP + 5 CC;
  
• 1 Chocolate bar = 15 EP + 8 CC;
• 1 Lollipop = 25 EP + 15 CC.

INFO UPDATE:
It was planned that the sweets would be booked into the inventory once the mini-game progress had been completed and then converted to the Exchange values at Event end.
After the parade, but also after completion of the task, the equivalent points are meant to be counted, but it unfortunately does not work.

If you have finished the minigame and got the rewards - 99999999 Points are shown to deliver. The 999999999 points will be removed and just the amount of delivered candies will be shown. (a script has already run to fix this).

The bar now shows the amount of Sweet points that you have accumulated:



1 Sweets points is then converted into 3 EP and 2 CC.
