Feedback Carnival Queen

This had to be the BEST event ever. The prizes were unbelievable! I was totally impressed at how generous the gifts were. It was difficult to get all of the paper drops. I didn't get all of mine until the last day, very late at night. But I kept some of my stables up throughout the event. When I finally finished the float, I had over 100 baskets. I had to stay up until midnight to use them all but it was totally worth it. Amazing gifts!

 

I thought this was a great event. The first bit was not particularly interesting - I can probably do events like that in my sleep by now. I know some farmers have had problems with drop rates but I didn't. I disliked the 6 hour crop, though, which doesn't fit in well with working or sleeping.

The mini game was good fun. I found after a few runs I got 'into the zone' when I played it, and could do it without any conscious thought or making decisions. It was very restful. I would be happy to see this style of game used again.

The prizes were outstandingly generous. I can probably call myself a long term player by now, at level 94, and I've been having a problem with lack of motivation recently - I even thought about quitting. My problem is lack of progression - it takes so very long to level up now and I've got all Baha content and done nearly all the Farmer's Society quests except the breeding ones which are added far faster than it's possible to complete them without spending lots of real money. This event not only gave me a very visable boost towards the next level, I got a load of power feed to throw at the next breeding quest or to try and finish off one of the older ones. It's great to feel like I've got something to aim for again as I find the game pointless without a goal.

 

Really enjoyed the event. One suggestion for an improvement would be to split up the floats into 3 floats which would allow some lower level players to get to the candies as well as break up the monotony of repeatedly catching candies at the end to finish the event.

 

This was amazing event, I loved it. Thank you BP, thank you. This is only second event I was able to fully complete as before I was always short of drop out items. Yes, the rate was quite low but that had been the case with all the events I participated so far. I had all 5 fields planted with various crop (none refined) and finally in the evening of the 5th day was able to complete the float. Then, I switched and had all 5 fields full of animal pens..... It was worth it.
I really enjoyed the mini game and would like to see it again even if it won't be that generous as this one.

 

I liked the layout of this event especially the rewards . I hope there are more events with a similar layout and prizes in the future.

 

Good Event .....Bad drops for the time and effort put into this event.... don't want easy... but a fair percentage would have been good

 

I loved this event too. The drops were a little sparce and I struggled towards the last two days to get enough to mill and see the Carnival Queen but that was more to do with RL than the event. If I hadn't been working, I would have found it a bit easier.

The Carnival Queen was sooooo generous - so many prizes for the taking. Downside: I had to leave 100 Candy Baskets on this farm and 78 on Chevrefeuille as I didn't have time to finish them before leaving for work yesterday morning. I didn't even have time to farm or send gifts, just holding those Candy Baskets out for over an hour!

All in all, really imaginative event, great graphics and lots of good prizes. Good going BP Devs!
