I manages to reap 700 AMARANTH, until this event was cancelled. Does that mean we can carry on where we left off, or start all over again, or lost my super grow >:(

Why on Earth did Farmerama choose Amaranth as a crop, that caused problems over one farmer, over level 234 They could have introduce a Crop that is devised event crop only, which cannot be a permanent crop when levelled up a level:wuerg:

They should take into consideration many farmers need decent time to play mini games, plus many whom have duties or work commitments, as previous carnival queen events is tied over at weekends:oops: I hope we get some compensation at least:wuerg:

While "rethinking", please update the "outdated" Mentor-System. It does not attract Players if they see that it does not coincide with the levelling system. I have had chickadees for over a year now and they sometimes ask awkward questions. And I keep answering that BP is updating the System. While busy "fixing" the present situation start right at the beginning. I see that potential players lose interest fast. I have written to the forum and to Support. A few that make it to the farm were not aware that levelling up that fast to Level 40 would touch their purse-strings more than they are able to afford. Please be reasonable and ask yourself as programmer or developers if you would play the game and be entertained. Would your retired mother/grandmother still be able to afford to keep playing? I have been playing since 2010.

I wonder if BP can just cancel this event till a more suitable and longer time in calendar...to me this would be the best option considering we are overun with events.
This event should be of normal duration and stand alone not just for 30 hours or so

The compensation pack goes to everyone, even to those who was not going to participate or was late? I really hope extraordinary compensation for those items which were in barn .... the same with the baskets!!!!!! If BP cares about having any players left they could at least let us have the drops and eventcrops left to when the event is playable or pay it back with a golden handshake. No general compensation pack in the world can take away the disappointment and be of similar worth as the efforts some of the players already have made in the carnival event already. I strongly vote for letting us have our event drops and crops unchanged until we can continue the event-

I agree that it would be more satisfactory to keep the crops and drops we managed to accumulate by our own strategy. The compensation package would then be fairly distributed whether one participated or not. Of course, those who bought baskets should be reimbursed accordingly. But on a different day, we might not have achieved the same result!

The gift+trade was a great idea to save an event that was doomed before the start. But next time a surprise G+T starts, would you please add a Moonlight night aswell? You know, the moonlit fields are CLOSED on normal days, so people who didn't see the G+T coming MIGHT have not deleted their trees and stables, and subsequently, could not swap them for anything. I would have finally been able totrade away a catfairy.

I am going to agree that I would like to have back the crops I grew and the drops I collected. I don't really care that I spent more SG than will be returned, but if we're to have this event at a later time, I'd like to keep the head start that I got by applying myself.

About the "murdered" queen ... in the Spanish forum ... some players have a special avatar:

The best mission is ... technical dismissals ...

The technical situation in BP is ... impossible for the players ... again ... and again ...-.-

    We are not babies.
Big problems (says BP) and .... small compensation (says BP)o_O

The event started, we trusted, we invested and ... BP has taken away what is ours ...

Now BP gives us "jars" to compensate The Queen but responds to new technical error in event of the cakes ...

    It's a joke? :wuerg:

Shame on you, BP, this is the second monumental screwup this year after the premium player ban earlier this year and it seems to me that you have once again inadequately compensated those who were affected. These technical problems are of your own making; too much greed, too little oversight, poor customer service, overscheduling of events. You are starting to make a game feel like a job. Most of us come here to escape our jobs.

I know I was pretty crabby about the compensation pack when it was announced...but actually, it was fine once I received it and realized how many BBs my other farm got for the large basket purchase and this farm got for the small basket purchase. It's all good.

Now I know a lot of players are mad about how this all went down...but the more I think about it - I'm okay with it. Mostly because the event was only slated to run for a few days - really not enough time (which was actually why I used the SG and SSG on those initial crops). The time frame of the event was short and there were overlapping events... so in all reality - maybe it's a blessing in disguise that this event was canceled.

Yeah, I wish it had been canceled before I spent money on baskets...but honestly, the heartburn wouldn't have been worth it. So I've moved on and I hope everyone else can, too.
