Casanova & The Vet

well its been 14 days since Maya had her toe amputated and in the morning she gets her stitches out she did chew one partially out so I hope the vet tells me it looks like its healing good it looks pretty good to me but im not a vet she is still limping I hope that stops after she gets her stitches removed and everything starts healing faster

 

well I took maya in and they left a couple of her stitches in and fixed the one she pulled they said it didn't heal right and it looked angry so she has to leave them in 4 more days and I have to clean her foot with peroxide and put ointment on where she pulled the stitch im not taking any chances that cone is staying on unless she is eating or going outside to potty im so ready for her to get back to normal and im sure she is too

 

It is never easy with our fur babies! That is why maya was probably limping somewhat, as one of her stitches was not healing properly
because she just had to try and take them out herself! I really hope she gets back to normal real soon!

Good Luck wit Maya. I'm glad she is slowly recovering - even with the set back. She does sound like she is on the last leg of this painful journey that you 2 have been on togeather.

 

thank you pups and sglick I was looking closely at her foot and found another spot that didn't heal right so if you could all please keep the thoughts and prayers going for her and me im starting to get really burned out I just want her to get better im thinking when I take her back in Monday I might just ask them if I can go back with her so they don't send her out half a--ed again

Marlymar what's the latest news?

 

well they are both doing really good now the only time maya has to wear her Ecollar and socks is when we aren't going to be here that way she cant lick at her toes and cause another problem other than that they are doing good thanks for asking im so happy we finally got everything taken care of and I pray that they stay healthy now they have cost a lot of money to get them better so I hope and pray they STAY healthy its going to take me awhile to get their vet bill paid but with some prayer and faith I think ill be ok

 

I am so pleased to hear that both are doing well. Now you can hopefully relax a little although I know only too well how expensive vet's bills can be.

ooooooh nooooo I found another lump on marlys elbow same elbow but not the same spot this lump is under her and behind where the last lump was I just hope it doesn't grow like the other one did I wont have my bill paid off till next august unless I hit the lottery or can figure out a way to make money

 

Nooo are you sure it is again a lump? I also hope it won't grow...
