    There was a suggestion about reopening the chat facility.

    While it doesnt sound like there will be an official one reopened, you could start one yourself if you had a few interested people.

    There are sites that will allow you to create a chat room (no I am not talking about the naughty ones) and you can give access to those who you choose.

    There are ones that are free to use.

    But you might find you will need to organise it between yourselves, as the mods may not allow you to organise it on the forums. but it can be done simply and easily and in very little time.
