    Hi gonefishing! The cheese production pen requires that you have mice to be able to put it to work, like an egg pen requires chickens. You must either have mouse stables to produce mice, or you can buy them in the market if you don't have a mouse pen. Mouse stables are a Mystery Stable pen, they can't be bought or built in the shop, unfortunately.     Hi gonefishing2

    As spotsbox has kindly indicated, cheese is produced by mice in their production pen. This workshop was originally awarded in the Day & Night Event and more info can be found there.
