Same as you. As soon as I saw the amount of breeding animals in FAQ I winded up the quest yesterday evening with my initial planting of 10 event crops.

And now I am peacefully watching my farming and forum.

Had trouble with loging into farmerama for months & therefore just now saw you question posted below. I didn't do even the first level. Sometimes it feels good to skip event and relax.

But the point is I never tell how to build a clock when asked for the time: I tell the time, sometimes complex because what it's tried to solve has no straightforward solution. For those who are prone to see my responses of the time as instructions to build a clock, well, they can skip my posts....

And I always explain with details: I always have, since my very first post in the English forum: they are needed to make others see things differently; details are the very reason why I play this game, because it's through them that I optimize everything. I'm not "now" into details. Maybe who changed is the one who now sees too much detail but failed to see them before.

Anyway, back to topic, again: to do the bred animals part of this event, if market is used to the player's advantage by assessing what to buy and sell using the ratios above, everyone can do it; but the player must be able to find the time and the patience of going to the mkt and make the calculations to spot what's best in her/his individual case.

Aluntino - I love that you build clocks!, because building clocks makes you happy, and I like it when you are HAPPY! They only thing is that I miss is your playful wit while you are building your clocks. I miss the playful banters we as a forum used to have. I understand that we grow in other directions and RL throws us about and makes us change our priorities.

I am really feeling the need to learn how build a clock so I can have it all. I want to satisfy my FOCD and donate all this cutie pie breeding animals, while increasing my Breeding herds while at the same time making a ton of CCs.

I am guilty of changing since I can't keep up with reading every single post like I used too. I have always appreciated and still do all the details and effort you put into your posts. Unfortunately, I have changed to where I only read the emotional and funny parts of the forum now.

I wish I had the time to read the I am broke thread again so I could continue my edumacation on how to rule the market. You guys, Broke, Alutino, & Mooboy are some pretty smart cookies. Thank for all your help and support for trying to help us math neophytes like me become smarter richer farmers.

 

I've calculated what it would take to finish steps 4, 5 and 7 (didn't do 6). While I actually could complete 4 and 7, I only have maybe 1/4 of what I need for step 5 even if I used EVERY animal I currently have. I don't have the CCs to do any purchasing in the market. I'll probably complete step 4 and in 24 hrs, reassess. I'm not going to kill myself to complete. Won't use SSG or SG. Will use CAC because I have some. May wind up with a cloud row incomplete or empty. C'est la vie! Maybe BP will offer the deco items in a sale sometime. I've only been playing since March so I don't feel too bad.

Thanks Mir! I've got Baha littered with animal pens, including 5 Classic Sloth pens so who knows?

 

Cali, as others have said in previous posts. Find something you can grow and sell for good coins. Use those coins to buy what you need as a low cost. If you're going to use pens to grow your own then use high EV/hr pens, as fits your schedule. As already mentioned those tend to be the Baha critters. Good luck! If you can't use the sloths, sell them before the end of the event.

sglick, as I've said in previous posts... It's just a game. It's imaginary money. I grow crops, animals, breed, raise coins to use in the game. I can't take it with me! Because RL hasn't allowed me much market time... I have quite a hoard. This weekend I hope to unload some of it.

 

Okay I caved - cursed FOCD! So I will end up with a greyed out cloud row as I just can't give up my breeding animals - even checked out Aluntino's suggestion and couldn't bring myself to do it. At least I found a use for the carnations in my barn (had nearly 10000, not sure why!)

 

Ι am now in the second task( I can't harvest 3 times a day)
And I am thinking about giving cows because I don't need them for production pens as I have milk trees

maybe a mysterious admirer offered them to you

 

I'm a bit of a hoarder too! I just opened sloths during the 1/2 price sale just so I could buy the Classic pens. They were very helpful for the first animal step but I just hadn't built up a large number before this event. I will try to find something I can sell but as a hoarder, I have a hard time doing it. I'm real good at spending my CCs in the market, though! Thanks for the well wishes!

 

I should post more often I know, but having to change the flag everyday upsets me. Anyway, I do read the forum.

I think I'm in this year too. I haven't decided yet, but I have plenty of treefruit to donate.

Maybe you know this already, but when you are logged into the game, you can add "&lang=en" to the URL and reload, that reloads the game in English. It is still more annoying than being able to log into the different forums directly, but it is better than logging out of the game, changing the language via the flag, and then log in again.

rarasisbumba, you have to log in to the game in Spanish, then go to the forum. If you are already logged in, you can add "&lang=es" to the URL and reload, that reloads the game in Spanish.

How about creating a bookmark? Or try opening a new tab and leaving it? Bookmark it? Don't know any other language so not going to bother testing it. Might not work since we have to be logged into the game these days...

changing en to de gets you the German forum, to es gets you the Spanish forum and so on. But if you want to post, you must first log in to the game in the language you want, then enter the forum from the game. You can log in consecutively with different languages, and open different tabs for the different forums, so you can post in several at the same time. But because of the auto log out, you will have to do this every day (maybe more times a day) and it is a bit annoying.

 

I just talked with Debbie via igm and she says she wants to send out a big Thank You to everyone for the great support. However, at this time she is reconsidering her decision to go for the top 1000 ~ unless something happens between now and then, for now she will simply support broke's efforts to reach the top 1000.


So I will go and edit my first post and then figure out where in the conversation this thread is!
