I may have to break down and get a Mill Subscription in the next couple days since my last Baby Blanket wont be done for a little under 3 days.

Can any player under level 61 even see the event in the farmer's society?
I wonder if lower level players (reached breeding at level 23??) could be part of the event.
Did anyone lower even attempt the first level?
I thought the stalls will just sit in the inventory until level 66! (not 61!) is reached: as usual.
This way players can look forward to level 66...
Why exclude so many players, I wonder...

Personally, I would suggest doing the first bits, if you can... to get a couple of cameleon pens, which will apparently be needed for the next breeding quest. But that is just my opinion....

Per the timing, again, just my opinion, but I would say now. prices tend to be high, then drop, then get high again at the end. That said, it might depend on how many you have to sell. If you have a lot, then sell all along. Watch the prices and see...

If I were a lower level farmer... If possible I would do enough of the event to get the minimum pens and buy the feed if necessary in preparation of chameleon breeding at some point.

After the last event I decided to put some critter pens out and some Comfort Fields. I usually sell my manure but decided to use it on the CFs. I had a pretty nice balance of manure production and use. I chose to stock up on cranberries. Pleasant surprise that Carmen Chameleon likes to eat them. lol

Pre-event inventory had me quite unprepared. I have plenty of lychees and cranberries, eggs and wheat. I also have plenty of PF, thankfully. I had zero chickens on all three farms. Only a few ducks on 2/3 farms. Zero sheep on one farm. I've spent the past two days growing sheep and ducks and making wool. Today I'm doing MM on Main, wool and sheep on Meadow, chickens on Glade. I'm exhausted. lol I'm suffocating in manure. Using manure on Main, CFs in Baha and 1x1s on Meadow. That's rare for me.

Not sure if I'm going to start breeding tomorrow or Sat.
    Maybe I did... Maybe I didn't...
Maybe I did, because... Choose one:
    1. I have FOCD.
    2. Have all the feathers, but only a few wool.
    3. Hate paying inflated prices for items, but can't seem to get to the Market to stock up on critters or products. And I'm not into animal husbandry.
    4. I would still have 1,500 hammers in stock after building 22 wool factories.
    5. 1 & 2
    6. 1 & 3
    7. 1 & 4
    8. 2 & 3
    9. 2 & 4
    10. 3 & 4
    11. 5 & 8
    12. All of the above.
    Or maybe I didn't.... LOL

Well if it's anything like mine... mush. Or in the frozen tundra... slush. (Wishful thinking?)
Pretty sure my gray matter has turned to mush trying to multi-task. All the critters I still need for BBD... and MM, trying to finish the second MM cloud... Real Life, yep it does exist... and maybe some time for the Market later to see if I have something I can sell... *sigh*
I have "Chuckie's in Love" by Rickie Lee Jones with a pic of Chucky doll from the movie that I've never seen. LOL!

I thought this event would set me back quite a few CCs but I made a killing at the market selling ducks, which was more than enough to cover the cost of all the sheep's wool I needed. 8):music: And it looks like I'm going to be needing all that cash to fund my future purchases of chameleon feed, as I have yet to unlock lychees. It's sold out right now, but it was going for 2000+ CC last time I checked. :wuerg:

My theory as to why they set the minimum required level for this event to 61 is to avoid future complaints from lower level players during the upcoming chameleon breeding event. We know that chameleons are the next breeding animal, and the next breeding event is rumored to take place in February (according to Mir85). And you need to be at least level 66 to even use the chameleon stalls. Leveling up 5 times (61 to 66) in time for the next breeding event is quite doable, but it gets a bit difficult beyond that. So imagine how a lower level player would feel when they've invested so many resources into this event to get the chameleon stalls, only to find out that they can't even use them during the next breeding event. BP would be flooded with complaints!

    Edit: grammar

Personally, I would have liked to see more time between introducing a new animal and bringing it up to be a breeding animal. There are other candidates for breeding. Elephants have been rumored to be an up and coming breeding animal. Why couldn't that have been the next one? Many mainland animals could be considered. Why introduce a new animal and immediately set it up for breeding????

Maybe they're planning to offer us amazing rewards and really want us to work for them. :p Or maybe they're just trying something new because higher level players are bored. :sleepy: With the short amount of time between the introduction of the breeding animal and the breeding event, you can't just buy the animals at the market (for a reasonable price anyway) because everybody will be hoarding the base animals for the next event and the higher level breeding animals don't exist! So you have to raise and breed your own.

Maybe this next breeding event is an attempt to force players like farmer_broke to do some actual farming! xD

I have Made over 5 Million CC too, still will be able to make more CC during this weekend too. As Baby Boom will start later today will be selling and buying Breeding Animals also i have hold back some Duck Feathers and Sheep Wool as prices will go up a bit more due to many farmers are running low of barn stock of these.

Will Buy these back after this event at much cheaper price, build up my stocks in case they are needed again. This is another Event where ducks are in demand sold ducks over 2000 to 3000 in a recent event. No One had time to restock these into their Farms. Therefore there is shortfall of these Ducks as we need 248 Ducks in order to get 62 Baby Ducks for this event. Once MM Event is finish will go back to Duck Farming and put out my Breeding Motels too.

To some of you will now have a Breeding Cloud Row to help speed up our Breeding, used it along with Baby Boom Rune and using Pink Jelly.

As soon as I fiinished Milling Baby Blankets i will start milling Chameleon Feeds as lychees is already selling for 200 cc each in my market. I think i will be getting my Lychees Trees out when my CAC runs out will buy more lychees Trees to put on my island spend some lovely CC on them

It is unfair to many farmers that they can get Chameleon Pens from this event but not got enough GB to unlock Lychee on the Island, so they can mill Chameleon Feed so they can get into Chameleon Breeding when it starts. As Chameleon Feed now appears in my markets to buy but these will be expensive to buy

It would be interesting about Chameleon Feeds for Broke and if Broke will do some actual Breeding for this Event so well Said Zerodegrees

Well Done to all farmers who made lots of CC from this Event, as all these cc does help buy up things that you are short on or not got space on your farm to grow and produces them. Good Luck and Happy Breeding and get lucky with skips ;)

ACK!!! Guess what fool forgot the CAC for most of yesterday... Finishing the cloud row will take one more MM. I hope only one. :D

I have enough chickens and ducks to do the breeding but I think I'll wait until tomorrow. I need a farm break. I have half the baby blankets. And enough of everything else.

    Just started my breeding about an hour ago and have, thanks to pheromones (some kindly gifted from awesome neighbours!) and Pink Jelly;
40 duck babies and another 20 chuckies in about 20 minutes :). Didn't activate the Cloud row as its almost bedtime, I'll use it tomorrow when I have better use for it.

I sold all of my stock of chicken and duck breeders day before yesterday, and made a killing :wuerg:xD
Who could resist at 18 800 and 58 000 CC for Roasters and Silkys
Now after doing 3x20 rounds of ducks I have 72 Mallards and 18 Motors so back on track. The skips are better than usual I think!?

    Best of luck all!

    Edit: numbers !?!

I have completed the event. I did buy a basket of blankets or I would still be at it and worried about completing. I didn't wait for the BBD to do my chickens and ducks. (Knowing my luck, I would have skipped everything I needed in the lower levels.) Now I can relax and breed what I need for other breeding quests. :)

Glad I sold my silkies and roasters early too to make a tidy profit. Managed to sell a few silkies for 62000 each, so currently browsing the market for bargains!
Will finish tomorrow as waiting for the final few blankets to mill ([IMG]).

get all the baby ones. now milling the remain 10 blankets. once finished
    This event will be done.
Then I will fully concentrate on Chameleon production. 18 chameleons stall
will make me stock up quickly.

I am getting nervous about those 18 cameleon stalls. I have to buy feed, which is expensive right now. The large number tells me that big quantities are going to be needed, but we still don't really know what the rewards will be. If I could mill the feed, it would not be such a big deal, but buying it... seems risky to me.
