Bug Cinema Issues: January

Hello lovely Farmers,

Please be so kind and use this thread to report any Cinema related issues you encounter this month.

Please note that the "no videos available" message is normal to have, this is not a bug, it just means you do not qualify for any offer.

Also, please make sure your Shockwave movie player is up to date, as well as your Flash player, if you encounter black screens.

For white blank screens, make sure you don't have a plugin blocking the content.

For other issues with the cinema, in order to forward them to the Game Team, we will need the following details, so please use the template provided below for the reports, posting all the requested information, points 1 to 7:
1) Short description of the issue experienced
2) Time when it occurred (preferably in CEST)
3) Country you are playing from
4) Screenshot
5) User ID
6) Browser used
7) Flash player version

Please note that if you do not provide the details request, we won't be able to forward the issues to be taken care of. Please refrain from other comments and just collect the broken videos by providing all the requested details - not providing them and complaining that the videos are not being taken care of will not help . We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. ​

The issue is the "One moment please..."message. This message is a prompt that a video is available and will play momentarily but it does not play and has not played in weeks. The "no videos available" message is what you see, or should see, only when you have watched your limit of videos for that day. I, as I am sure most others have done all the recommended solutions asked of us. Problems are to be expected and I understand this but to last this long is not normal. I have asked for help before with issues of this nature and the problem was solved in a reasonable amount of time and I am very thankful for that...however I feel that this issue is being ignored at this particular time. I do so enjoy this game and look forward to playing daily. I ask on behalf of myself and all others that enjoy this game as much as I do...Please, Please, help. Thank you so much. ID # 20669282

How can everyone playing the game suddenly not qualify for any of the videos?? Also, how come I have to watch a video before I can play the game when I first sign in? I obviously qualified for those videos, I just don't get any benefits for having to watch them. With so many players relying on the points in order to buy BB's, so we can purchase items that are not available for CC's, such as Power Feed, Harvest Helpers, Super Grow and Crafting Items you would think that they could either fix the problem or find another way for us to earn or be rewarded them. All players need these for one reason or another and without a way to earn them we are now at a disadvantage in the game. I saw that some players were commenting on growing Power Feed in the Bahama area, my issue with trying to produce it in the mill is the time it takes to make it. During events when you really have to have it you can just kiss doing very well in that event good-bye. When it takes 9 hours to make 1 unit, and most events that require it don't last for weeks, only a couple of days, by the time you get 4 units you have wasted an entire day. If you aren't able to get across to BP that there are so many players that are affected by their not making videos available, or finding an alternative way for us to earn them or be rewarded somehow with them, should we (players) contact them directly to express our need to have a way to be able to obtain BB's in other ways, rather than having to pay for them? I am getting discouraged and I know there are others who are also. This has been going on for over a month now and nothing is being done about it, we deserve to know what is going on and if there will be a fix to this problem.

 

Dear Monitors, if BP is not going to have any movies available for some time, could they please let us know when they will be available again so we are not wasting so much of our time trying to watch a movie when it is not available? Thank you.

 

Can you tell us How we are suppose to make BBs without the cinema showing films ???

The ones in FS are one off ...when gone they are not replaced

This is advertised as a free game ...having to buy BB's with money ...doesn't make this game FREE
We need another source in this game to make them ...that is reliable because the movies isn't and thats very unfair

 

I havent been able to watch films for over a week yet I've almost always been able to watch at least 2 films a day. Agree with comments above - how are we supposed to get BB if we can't watch films??
Hardly makes the game worth playing now
Having been playing for probably 5plus years I feel I may as well give up - cant buy any stables for the new Baha event so at a huge disadvantage to people that can.
Im in UK would be interesting to find out what other countries can't watch the films?

 

I haven't been able to see movies since the beginning of December (more than a month). In USA.

I have not seen a movie since mid December.

 

Is there any news on when the cinema will be up and running again???

 

I'm still not able to watch the cinema vids either, and I'm getting very sad about it. I have no other way to get BB's. U.S.A.

 

I've been lucky getting videos on a regular basis, so no big complaint. However, today I got the message:
We are really sorry, this offer is not available anymore!

What is this and why is it in the video lineup?

Cinema acts like it is going to play a video and then I get message saying Service Unavailable Error 503?

My one shows "We're sorry, but there are no videos available right now. Please try again later." But I have not been able to see any movie for the last two months if I am not wrong. Please help to sort this problem as I am unable to collect BBs for a long time.

UPDATE: Did not do anything different (after 3 previous tries) but now it has the arrow and plays.

 

I have not been able to watch any cinema movies for over a month. I always get a statement that states "there are no movies available, come back later". This is how I earn some of my BB for the game. I should not have to pay for them in order to play parts of the game.
NOT HAPPY at the moment!
