Cirque du Farmerama - Strategy thread

Used seals, giraffes, rhinos and some breeders (all those lovely ducks, donkeys and ostrich middle levels I had in abundance) to get the CR up. Will not go further with the circus - tightrope walkers scare me! Got two nice beaver skips as well - regs to trappers!

We were lied to again! again!

Where in the deceiving faqs is it stated that ANY animal may be donated? Where? Please assist me before I take this liein and deceivin to the general issues. Maybe I cannot read either.

And I'll just happily go along. Right, I'm stupid! I have just about concluded that some party (maybe plural) are/is. For the moment, I'm stupid.

 

Your reading is fine (on this anyway).
In the FAQ.
* From what level can we participate in this event?
For this breeding event, you need to be level 21.
Also the requirements All say 'xxxxxxxxx barn value of breeding animals'!?!!
Maybe there is some Very Small Print somewhere that we are not seeing.

Hey stupid - give the poor Mods a break If the world was full of stupid people like you Broke, there would be no problems left except stupid ones. Who reads every teeny detail??? I certainly don't. I just come to this thread to see what I missed and what you'all are miffed about.

 

Mods have no concern for me. And there are many many parties associated with my original post regarding the lies and deceit and its continuance. I have done all I plan to do except enjoy the new name "stupid" and leave this alone cause I'm (you know) .

My only strategy now regarding this continuous matter is to say: I told ya so. And I'm (you know). They wish!

I have not made my mind up if i am doing this.. My first guess was to just pass. I will have to relook at the CR but seems as I wont make the new animal pen so with that and my lack of animals stock, I will more likely pass this one. As life, i have to deal with and its keeping me from putting what brain i do have, to work . I will how ever do my best on the other event.

Same here. Can't afford to do Round 3 -- maybe when I reach Level 200 I'll have the inventory for something like this.

Gave in and did round 3 on both farms - I don't often do a barn empty but wanted the octopus and cloud row!

 

Well, I took "any breeding animal" to mean a "colored animal" in other words, level 2 or higher. Was I wrong to think that?

Both farms are done with this event - well as far as I'm going. Cloud rows are up and running and that's it. I'm not going around a 3rd time - the rewards aren't worth the donations of my precious colored animals. Keep your hands off my pugsleys. Mine. all mine.

 

I used only seals to finish all 3 rounds! I always keep a menagerie full of them b/c of their high EV!!! I was thrilled not to use any of my colored breeding animals!

I have waited and waited for this opportunity to explain breeding donation.

The donation of seal is EXACTLY the reason for my concern yesterday with the event faqs as originally posted. (shooger.sweet so kindly correctly them. Yet it was too late for many. That is another issue. Thank you very much anyway shooger.sweet.)

The donation!

All animals whether breeding or otherwise do have an EV. EV EV EV EV EV (I'm stupid and will write it 1,000 times) EVEVEVEV...

For the moment, only consider the market price of an animal and divide it by the EV. This will give a market to EV rate. In this case, the rate is how much one is paying for each unit of EV.

Some breeding animals have a present rate of 20, 35, 40, 45, and I sold one yesterday for over 78.
(This is why I asked what to donate. I wanted the general feeling of our group so that I would know exactly how to rip farmers off for ccs.

I just reviewed seals on this market and the rate is below 6.5 .

Would one rather pay 20 per EV point or 78 per EV point or 6.5 per EV point. <----------------------------------

(Believe this or not, Mentor Brookeham's rate she actually paid is far far less than the 6.5.)

That's 1 advantage of starting my daily game late.....all corrections, or problems are usually taken care of before I login for the day!

 

1st off, Broke I knew you were . I am an extremely loyal person, & I like to look after the Mods since I feel that they do their best to look after us. I don't like Mod bashing. Also, I would be just as loyal sticking up for you or any other of my 100's of friends on this game.

Now, BP bashing is another story since BP (who has changed hands at least once) is this mystical black hole of who knows what. I always think that this black hole should be more careful. I also have to admit that BP has gotten better - not perfect - at respecting us.

Broke - yesterday, I knew you were trying to "teach" us something. Mentally, I am still not sure I want to change to turn into a smart bunny about the cost of EVs. I am starting to realize that what you want to teach me will be extremely beneficial to me. Not just in this game, but in RL as well so Thank you for chipping away at my resistance.

I liked your explanation today about how to determine the cost of EV. I could actually understand it, but I have difficulties with the simplistes of math. Like which number gets put into the calculator 1st. The price of the animal (or whatever) or the corresponding EV number? Yea, this is one of the ironies of my life. The simpler the task, the harder it is for me to remember how to do it. I'm better at remembering complex abstract ideas. LOL

Yesterday, I was a very very very happy being stupid who just look to see what price of an animal came closest to what the donation amount was.

I wish I was smart like Brook, but I am still trying to build up too much of my other inventories to specialize in producing Seals, Yaks, & Silver leaf trees. I still am aware of their EV so I do my best to increase their numbers.

I still have not gotten the CR. I was easily able to donate all the animals, but I had a very late start yesterday so I wasn't able to do much breeding during BB so I still need about 80 Flags. i will get them soon enough. LOL Also, I am hoping that there is another BB since I have 200 breeds ready. I missed the cut-off by about 5 minutes. Boo-hoo/ LOL.

 

I've also donated just seals but had a late start so didn't get all the circus garlands needed to finish before Baby boom ended. I'm getting nice drops so it will minimize any additional breeding I need to do but I do like that I can work on what I want. I am so conditioned to specific breeding requirements that I have to think and remember what my own personal goals are

I'm sitting this one out too, usually I avoid breeding events. I only choose some because my PF is limited.

Saving my PF and not doing any breeding at all. Donating seals and drops from the fields. Need less than a hundred garland to get the cloud row and guess I'll stop there.

 

Finished the whole event yesterday - got tired of waiting so did some more breeding and finished it off quicker than a sensible farmer would have done! I am still after some high level Camels and Pandas though I didn't make any impression with this BB.
I too used mainly base animals, an occasional coloured animal if the amount fitted my requirement.

I did like this event even if it did ask a lot on first glance but those Seals are back out on the fields restocking my Barn (along with Hippos, Pandas and Camels).
Skip rate was diabolical!
