Good morning from this side of the pond. One thing I might add, is depending on your time zone, you might find yourself trying to juggle the usual farm chores. My habit is a quick top of of buffs, harvest giver/Pet fields, and event field, then depending on RL (the first also depends on RL, but more often than not, I can do that as part of my morning routine), harvest the playing fields.

Since our move, my time zone is about 2hrs ahead of game changes, so if I do my usual routine, I'm behind when the game resets. Still trying to work out optimum time to do what, and muddling along as more family arrives tomorrow :)

Good luck everyone. This thread has been a huge help to me and I appreciate everyone who is posting. Cheers, MC

I am pretty much taking what is given while doing my daily routine. Today, I fulfilled all but one of the quests this way. The last one was use one PF on Crystal Falls giving a prize of 2 PF, what's not to like! Doubled my outlay! :inlove:

On the second day of City Tasks, they wanted me to spend BB(s) - now I could have spent 1 BB (which probably would have been something unnecessary) to get the prize but instead I spent 20 BBs on something I would definitely use. In hindsight, looking at the overall prize for one week (3 hour Harvester Voucher :wuerg: ), I shouldn't have bothered. In future, I will weigh up what the return is and if I feel it is worth it, I will fulfill the task. I am not going to worry about the weekly/continuity prize unless it changes to something a little more exciting. :music:

Hmm, my weekly prize shows a Crate O'Buffs, not a 3hr Harvester Voucher...are weekly rewards different for each player? A 3hr HV is, indeed, a paltry reward for a week's work!

Wowser! I'd prefer any of those! Still, they will probably rotate after a week - I hope! :wuerg:

Baby farm has the 3h voucher while main farm has the crate o' buffs... Still I don't see the appeal of it. I got the "spend BBs" on the baby farm this morning which coincided with a super special offer to get some BBs... hmmmm... Got myself an arboretum to help with the powertools, but just like any regular player I'm missing wodden mallets!

What is the goal of scultping that statue again? Besides giving us more work and less prizes that what we're spending??!!

    Things to know:

#1: "Spend BBs" - you can buy one SSG for one BB in the city "supply store" under "accessories. It satisfies that city quest item.
#2: Instead of waiting until the end of the month to buy everything you normally buy in the Orange Farm Coin Shop - just buy one item that you normally would anyway to satisfy the "spend farm coins" item.
#3: Spend CCs" - same - anything in the supply store that you can buy for CCs or anything at the market satisfies that item.

I had to buy something in the shop but seeds didn't count. I wound up purchasing an apple tree.

Yeah, first time I needed to buy something with BBs this farm bought an XXL apple tree - cuz you just can't have enough of those.

Okay, found out something new: If you get the task "produce 2 feed in the mill" it must be the MAINLAND mill. The Bahamarama mill does NOT work to satisfy the requirement.

And of course, I keep my mainland mill running PF night and day - generally 6 at a time. So had to kill the one that was running and the two in the queue behind it. Produced two items to feed the mole for the event - voila. Then refilled the mill with PF.

Oh yeah...this is so much fun. Fun. Really not the right word.

Edited to add: oh yeah -- and breeding actions like harvest two breedings or START two breedings - those are individual items. Fill the four slots. Start the breeding. Fill the four slots again, start another breeding. If you start two multiple breedings at the same time, they DO NOT COUNT as two individual breedings.

This seems to be the way with some other things. So things that many of us do in batches have to be done singly and without "automation". Other tasks can be done with the harvester, etc. But, you don't know until you use the harvester or seeder and it doesn't give you the little pop-up in the lower right corner of your screen whether or NOT it doesn't count.

I am annoyed at the task "use two powerfeed on the main field." The main field is currently in use in three ways! Event crops and two lots of drops! And nothing I can use powerfeed on, gives drops. So no to that task.
    Thanks! Yes to that task....-.-

I had two tasks - start two breedings and use two power feed on the green meadow. I just happened to be on the meadow when I did the breeding and the first breeding counted as "use two powerfeed!"

The other thing I have noticed is that there is sometimes a delay in my action being identified as fulfilling the task. I occasionally need to leave the area before the pop-up tells me I completed it. Harvesting a pet is commonly like that. Just a little something to make it more challenging. ;)

Remember what I said above about not using automation? Yeah, this applies up in Edelweiss Valley, too. If you have the harvesters for up there, do NOT use them to fulfill the "harvest alpine crops" item. It counts as ONE - not multiples, even if you're harvesting a bunch of them.

I just discovered this thread.....I was panicking with just 16 minutes left and couldn't figure out "converter". o_O:oops:
    Thankfully, you all rescued me!;)
Translator definitely needs to be better! Same needed in Lollapalooza event questions and answers. :p

If you see a task you cannot or don't want to do and also have to spend BBs, use one BB to achieve the task and both tasks done. Result! :music:

Anyone figured out what the "Harvest one Store house" means? I have harvested the converter in Alpine Valley and a plant refinery process, neither was right. Any help appreciated.
