Clarification ??’s for Menagerie

FAQ Menagerie states the following:
The EP collected from the Menagerie will be the sum of all the stables you place in it. The production time will be the longest harvest time of the stables placed in this Menagerie.

My questions:
1. Is production time and manure output also a sum?
2. Can the menagerie be watered?

Example 1: Using 4 moose stalls in Menagerie
Normal Moose stalls
Gives: 1 moose, 50 EP & 2 unit of manure
Time: 10 hours (with normal feed)

With menagerie, which way will the results be?
4 moose, 200EP, 8 units of manure with 40 hours to produce
OR
4 moose, 200EP, 8 units of manure with only 10 hours to produce

Example 2: Using 3 moose stalls and 1 Butterfly house in Menagerie
Normal Moose stalls
Gives: 1 moose, 50 EP & 2 unit of manure
Time: 10 hours (with normal feed)

Normal Butterfly House
Gives: 1 butterfly, 70 EP & 1 unit of manure
Time: 12 hours (with normal feed)

With menagerie, which way will the results be?
3 moose, 1 butterfly, 220EP, 7 units of manure with 48 hours to produce
OR
3 moose, 1 butterfly, 220EP, 7 units of manure with 12 hours to produce

Thank you for your questions. The EP collected is the sum of all the stables placed in the Menagerie, but the production time will be the one of the longest stable - it is not a sum.

So, to take one of your examples, it will be 3 moose reserves plus 1 butterfly house will give 220EP, 7 units of manure and it will take 12 hours to produce. The runes and effects apply here as well, and yes, you can reduce the harvest time with water as well - adding 4 units of water.

Correct me if I'm wrong. If I understand correctly, your reply answer is exactly what I was hoping for.

Today a farmer uses 4 (2x2 slots) to produce 4 animals.

With the new menagerie a farmer can produce 4 animals in one menagerie and use other 3 (2x2) slots to produce 3 more of the same animal in the same amount of time.

You are not wrong, you understood that correctly - there still are things that are not too good to be true !

Indeed, today a farmer uses 4 x 2x2 slots to produce 4 animals, but with the menagerie, you can use 1 x 2x2 slot to produce 4 animals in the same amount of time, and you can use the other 3 x 2x2 plots to produce 3 more animals in the same amount of time.

The only down-side is the expense involved(stars & bb's). But hey as the store warehouses progress, things could possibly improve.
