Classic parrot 2 not accepting orange upgrade

I did read in "Parrot breeding pre release" that a script will be run to covert old parrot stables to the new version. This has not yet happened here on my comp in Australia.
I have refreshed as advised to others who have experienced the same problem without success.
I have 8 orange upgrades waiting to go on 7 stables in the rainforest and 1 stable in the plantation which will double my in take of parrots.

Can you try deleting the stables on your fields then replacing them, to see if they transform into the new ones?

Did as advised. No difference. Still the same, classic parrot 2 not accepting orange upgrade. stoodgorilla.

 

You cannot apply coloured upgrades on top of Classic stalls, you need the regular Base stables, which you can purchase in the Bahamarama Shop.

Sorry, but this seems unfair. Why have two different types of stable in the first place or is there more than two?. Refer the " The parrot breeding pre-release" which refers to a script to change the older parrot stables to accept the new upgrades.
If you cannot do anything about this, then I would appreciate a refund on the 8 orange upgrades now in my inventory.

The Classic I and II stables are discontinued for sale when an animal is introduced as a breeding animal. When an animal becomes available for breeding, colored stables are also introduced. As always, colored upgrades must be placed on a base pen. A script was run to convert existing base parrot stables into the current version to allow players to purchase upgrades (and when breeding goes live, to build upgrades in the city). Classic I and II stables have never been able to have an upgrade placed on them as they are not regular base stables. You may place your orange upgrades on base stables.

Prior to the pre-release for parrot breeding, there were base stables, Classic I and Classic II stables for sale. You can see such similarities with the sloth as it remains a non breeding animal.
