I wonder if this is a good place to share the issue I'm having with my tractor and see if my new friends could offer their advice : so far Ive been fortunate and had great success with my farm (at least IMHO) but I have lost 33 super feed due to clicking fast on my tractor...I place food and water, and while trying to feed so many so quickly, if I feed an animal, and miss-click one more time it reverts back to feed, and swhoop, there goes my golden hay... shouldn't there be a button on my tractor to remedy me of being over zealous??

purplebeet, are you manually adding the food water, etc.? If you are doing it manually and have the wheel that pops up when you click, you need to be patient and slow, especially anywhere near the edges of your farm, the items shift. I would suggest that you do powerfeed (PF) last to hopefully avoid doing those issues. I know others have more experience with it than I do. I rarely PF my stables.

Oh don't we all wish..;) If it's any consolation at all you are in good company. I don't think there is a farmer here who has not at some point mistakenly zapped a field with SG or PF by mistake.

Not much of a solution except to say you just need to be careful especially if you are using harvester functions. Manually clicking you might lose one or two but with harvester you can lose a large chunk of your reserves with one click of the button.

I use the harvester functions and use the machine to add regular feed if you do that it won't add PF to ones that have been given regular feed. Or you could manually do regular feed and use the machine to do PF. Whichever is easier. I manually do PF. Less chance of error.

I don't know Baw I've been a bit too quick on feeding and just clicked one to many times on the harvester and hit the PF button. It still added it even though the stables had regular feed as well.

@purplebeet as stated already this is a very common mistake. I once wasted 202 SG on a field of lettuce. All I can say is you tend to get really careful once you've made that mistake not to repeat it.

Clashstrummer, I just know for this recent quest, I had a few non-event production pens, I used the machinery to feed them, it started production on all of them. I wanted to see if my PF numbers would change so I used PF button. My PF numbers didn't change and no PF was used on any stall. I then manually did it. Next time I manually fed my regular ones since it was only a few and used the machine to PF the others it worked. Only used 40 PF.

That's interesting Baw. It's been a long time since I've mistakenly hit the PF and if I use it I always apply it manually so perhaps they've updated the harvester.

LDCrow,;) I'm so sorry, I hold back a grin reading this, thank you! I shall not complain another time (out loud anyways) Thank you baw815, and Clash, so its not exactly a newbie mistake. I will blame mine on lack of sleep since I started playing and try to be more aware, its not as though my game ends at the stroke of midnight.o_O

purplebeet, here is an archived thread of things we have all done on our farms. Some are funny but we can all commiserate that mistakes do happen by newbies and veteran farmers.

I'm glad to read in the forum you are enjoying the game:)
