Cloud Row Strategies

Oh, my mistake. I thought the brown pigs were about halfway through the breeding process. So yeah, not that much difference. What do you do with all your pigs?

 

The Recent Cloud Row....Cry Babies.... Gives you a Brown Sheep Every 30 Hours. It is an Non Themed Cloud Row, it the Cry Babies Strategies those Newer or Newbie Farmers as Unable to use or fill these Cloud Row, due to shortage of 2x1 Giver Items.

As you cannot buy 2x1 Decorations or Givers From The Farmerama Shop, but you can Buy 1x1 or 2x2 Givers from the Shop. So When you unlock any Non-Themed Cloud row requiring 2x1 Giver Items it is an Issue to Obtain 2x1 Items.

I was fortunate to to build up Stock of 2x1 From Gifts from Neighbours many which are consumables one such as Hay Watch, Sand Castle, Sea Horse and Santa's Helper

During Moon Light Mania Mini Event you can Either Make a Mummy or Spider Web Spooky 2x1 EP Giver from Jack Shop. Other Wise have to Wait until there is Barter and Gift Event and Require these needy 2x1 Givers for The cloud row.

The Cry babies gives us 1 Brown Sheep every 30 Hours it not help me on my farm or for many of you But is certainly helps to bring the price of Brown Sheep Down in the Markets can be snapped up cheaply to help you towards Sheep Breeding which helps towards Sheep Breeding Quest. I Certainly will be snapping them up as i go along as i not completed the sheep breeding quest yet still working on it

As AnnTAngel Pointed out it Make sense to Draw up a Cloud Row Chart as there are so many cloud rows, with Different Effects as I have written down the Special Effects or Special Bonus Cloud Rows such as

• Quicker Breeding Cloud Row (Help Reduce Now Phermones to Speed up Breeding Time)
• Quicker Spooky Crop Cloud Row (Reduce Spooky Crops Times/ Helps Terror Bouquets to be More Effective)
• Quicker Animal Pen Growing Time (Now have two cloud rows to do this)
• Super Grow more Effective for 6 Hours Cloud Row
• Boost Tropical Trees/Island Crops by 20% EP for Two Hours
• Flower Cloud Row Boost Flower EP by 30% for 24 Hours, Plus reduce flower crops times by 10%

The Wolf Next Door Cloud Row

We had Mini Event Called San Gigantica Express in which we generate Cargo Blueprints to obtain Jumbo Pens or Classic Pens, The Wolf Next Door Cloud Row Actually Gives us 20% More EP on all Cargo Blueprints we harvest on our Farms

 

When I get a Cloud Row that needs 2x1 item and is better value than my early rows I take 2x1 item from those rows for my new cloud.

 

You will get a far bigger CC return from wonder stables/trees, particularly if you buy one of the packs with the gauranteed new animal/tree.
Unless you are buying BB and therefore don't mind spending them, I would wait.

 

I am afraid this is the issue, buying BB and spending them, but now I reduced spending, for the rows that was purchased by BB they were cheap, only the last 2 were more expensive, if I am correct they were 60 and 90 BB, but now there is no more to buy, until BP introduce something new and interesting.

For the decorations, my inventory is full, I did not buy much, a lot of neighbors had gifted my Santas helper, and I used my last one on the latest cloud row which I got from finishing down under wonder 2 days ago, those 120 kiwis taught me a hard lesson on being patient, for the 1x1 I have a lot of Wilson, jack-o-lantern, lonely goat and herb batches which costs nothing, the only thing I buy is the 2x2 small volcano for 2500cc when there is need, I have other 2x2 deco items that gives good EP ( all over 1000EP) and I found it is a waste to use these on rows, now the rows on my stalk counts 70 rows on 27 pages, with one row still not active that is waiting for next MMM to get the last deco item (Dracula bunny) and there is only 1 row yet to unlock from FSQs ( a clean for a spell), all the rows there were unlocked and Active

 

If you got 120 kiwi pens, then you definitely got your money's worth.. or did I misread?

 

Oh dear, 120 kiwi pens, never even in my dreams, what I mean is 120 kiwi birds the requirements for the last step of down under wonder, I started with 1 kiwi stall and the last secret stable I got another 2. it is only three, and you can do the math to see how long it takes to get 120 birds, each needs 16 hours with water, and during the events I had to remove these to do the event crops, I think it is safe to say it took from me more than 3 months, as for getting my moneys worth, BP guaranteed that nobody is going to get his moneys worth as long as luck is a major factor.

 

Ah, OK I guess that would be rather beyond extravagent. Still, 3 is great, too! No, I sell them to buy other things. I only just started on the last part of that quest, after the price of kiwis, etc., dropped considerably. In the meantime, I have completed quite a few other quests, including several for Baha, with the proceeds of the sales. That is how I was able to finally do shipwreck.

 

Hi abudadi66 and Woody....I am Veteran Farmer Here as I have Enough EP Givers to Fill My Park Twice Over. As All These EP Givers was rewarded to me by completing Events and Quests.

I only do Quesrs that are easy to do or Cheap to do and Useful Rewards Cloud Rows as some of them are not that useful to me. So they go onto my list of all other Useful Quests are done. I am Working on Picky Pirate Quest and What a Relief Quest as The Down Under Wonder and The Wolf Next Door Quest is not that Helpful on my Farm. As I Leave Those for the Time Being.

2x1 For Cloud Rows are the Hardest and Rearest to Get Especially for Lower Level Farmers or Newbies as 1x1 or 2x2 Items Can be brought from the Stores using CC.

I do cash for action so I do Gain a Few BB Per Day. As I Always build up a small Stock of These to use BB on special Promotions. I have put on Hold unlocking some CC Clouds as I do have a fair amount of cloud rows to click daily it does takes a few mins to do this. If there was a feature to for Auto Cloud Rows i would be more than happy to unlock more Cloud Rows

 

Edit: The only strategy I can add is the obvious one... I will often activate the rows that don't influence things (that give set amounts of stuff rather than, say increasing EP on my pens or chances of drop items). Then I try to remember to click on the rows influencing pens/fields, etc before harvesting/planting.

???? -- you can get several, but they cost BB. Jingle deer and one of the chickens are cheapest. They begin at 10 BB. I am not saying it is worthwhile to buy them, but they are available.


I have all the rows stars can open(I actually like the albino bat, but I can see why you say its not worth much, since you can buy the bats so cheaply in the market). I did buy a few of the purchasable rows (back before I returned to playing for free only), but more or less regret it. They only give CCs and EPs and I can get plenty of those by growing/selling animals, etc.

The ones I consider least worthwhile at this point are the ones giving 1000 EP and 750 cc, respectively.

 

I agree Woody and Mooboy, in the beginning I was not considering things like to today, I was just playing and opining anything that comes in my way, now I think not all of these are useful and many I can do without, and who would ever thought that BP was going to through that much cloud rows in the game, last year was different and things were going smoothly, but now every month we have 2 or 3 new cloud rows and that's pain in the back until they bring that harvester, besides, it is taking the fun from the game.

 

Hi. I just opened my magic stalk 2 days ago. I was looking at the tutorial - not really any help. Is there a place that I can not find to get some good starter strategy? It's all very interesting here - but to be honest - for someone just starting (and clueless besides) not much use

 

This thread is very helpful, thank you Mooboy. As a newer player I didn't put much thought into the cloud rows, only to open whatever gave nice EP. I have only 17 open, at the moment, and some items I did have to purchase with bb's from shop. Maybe because of my level I didn't realize just how many options were available in the clouds( as there is so much other work to consider just starting out), but all of this info on this thread has really given me some insight as to how valuable the rows can be. Now I am excited and will plan my new rows to benefit my farm as opposed to just collecting as many as possible!

 

I do not think there is a thread about the cloud rows, usually they were introduced in events or on special sale, and the information about them is only there in there related announcement, beside, the information might not be useful now since they are not available anymore unless they were brought back again, anyway, you are my neighbor, you can ask me what you want to know by IGM and I can give you some information, best advice now would be, try to stock on decorations as many as you can, either by asking your neighbors to gift you or buy what ever you can, and doing events especially the steps that awards EP givers, a lot of new rows are coming since it is BP policy now to bring a lot of these either in events or on sales.

 

There is Talk of Barter and Gift Event Starting Tomorrow, it will be a Great Opportunity to get some EP Givers to fill in those Missing Grayed out Clouds in the Cloud Rows. As They Cloud Rows Requires 1x1 Items, 2x1 Items and 2x2 Items. The Hardest Items to get Hold of to Fill the Cloud Rows are 2x1 Items as you cannot buy these from the Stores using CC

 

Now it is official, G&T was announced and starting tomorrow at 3:00 pm CET, hurry up farmers, it is for 2 days only.

My day, has been read about good farm upgrade/improvements/to get/do and learn, the past forums are great to read, dizzy but good. Get a little money go buy improvements go sell something else, better market workings found in past forums do them so I can do it all again...

Now, getting info on MM, sweating here, land filled with animals that have to be deleted for those night crops, figuring out what combination of flowers/jams/breads things are needed to do things from growing to breeding...

Then, doing regular quests to get them stars..... farm land tied up as full with animals or full with crops choices of the confused.....

Now got my 1st bean branch no idea what I will do with it but lay it aside for now.

Now, to add to my down time I have so much of on here, 2x1? 1x1? how about a two by four?
I have to go find out about the give quest the link don't work teddy gave for me, where do I go to find out about sizes? 1x1? why is 2x2 better?

I assume you have checked the FAQs? that will give you some basics.
To begin, the rows come slowly. I think you get one right away? If you are buying packs of BB, it won't hurt to buy a cloud row or two, but if you are parsing things out, being more cautious, I would not buy them. Some of the newer quests have cloud rows as rewards, but they take time to obtain. Mooboy talked about the rows available from the tree of wisdom. Myself... I like them, but by the time you are ready to open them, you will know better what you want.

Other than that, some rows are themed... have to have specific deco items to make them work. If there is no picture on it, then it is an unthemed row/space one and you can put almost any non-upgraded deco item, (but not the beach club) on it. You need to have all the spaces filled to make the rows work. You click on the end label piece , it will say what the row gives and then will ask if you want to activate the row. Every row has a different "cooling off" period until you can use it again.

Other than that.. ask questions.

I know that my letter does not belong to this thread, but I looked around and have not found anywhere to stick it in.
This night (Tuesday, about 2.oo am.) I unlocked with stars a whole rune on Tree of Wisdom offering herbal elixirs - this rune is called "Wellness Guru" . Then I went to Spa to check if they arrived there and found that the elixirs were not there. I refreshed the game - no help, - then I cleared the cache, -no help, -then I cleared the Flash Player cache, -no help. I would be very happy for your help to check where these elixirs landed.
