    Thank you for all the tips, Jazac!

    You can note hi-bear-nation as one of the givers that won't place. I tried it on a bunch of different sized clouds, and it doesn't take it. It placed a water tower afterward just fine. Too bad.

    Still working on stars -- I've gone completely up middle, but have yet to buy the Living Legend at the top (only have about 10 stars at the moment - and a long way to go on my trophies). I also have to tackle all the side branches yet. But I appreciate all the tips and tricks from everyone -- and I'll definitely focus on working toward some of the runes mentioned in this thread.

    ...there's just so much to do! xD

    Just remembered you can also place the daily gift animal 1X1's too, like the 'Lonely goat', 'Hungry chicken' etc...:p
