Collecting star coins when not completing entire pipeline

    Do you need to complete an entire pipeline to collect the star coins along the way, or can you just take enough steps to collect the star coins on a tile and not complete that pipeline? Thanks

    Hello Growalot :)

    You must build a pipeline from start to finish whether you create your own path or use the game's plan. Once the pipeline has been planned, you will see how many straight and bent pipes it will take. Once you have enough pipes, only then can you start the game.
    You collect star coins as you complete each level.

    You are not required to do all 10 levels but you do have to complete a pipeline level in order to get star coins. There are no partial pipelines.
